    Re: Disney Face Character Auditions

Hi, I plan on auditioning next month at Disney World to be a face character. To those of you that have been to the auditions: what is good for guys to wear?
Also, do you need like perfect skin to get anywhere, or is that a lesser factor?

Axelrod- I can't help you with what to wear, other than the basic dress comfortably in something you can move in. Dance or gym shoes, no flip-flops. Acne can be covered fairly decently with makeup, so I wouldn't worry about that too much!
Best of luck to everyone auditioning! SydneyDanae- I will be auditioning for the College Program in March! Way too long of a wait!

I don't know, I've always felt that you need good skin to get face (at least, from what I've seen at WDW).

I agree. I've never seen any face character with "bad" skin. Everyone will have that zit or two that pops up, it's part of life, but I feel that clear skin is relatively important in the audition process.

edit:// how important are perfectly straight teeth? I have one crooked tooth, but it's not noticeable when I smile. I'm just wondering if that would decrease my chances in any way?

I'm in the same boat as you! I did find this picture online and it does look like she may have actually been a face character and not just a guest. I can't promise that they regularly hire people with "not perfect" teeth, or if you have to be perfect in every other way, or if this is actually not an official Alice but it certainly looks like one!

They don't let you post certain words on here. But it definitely gives me hope too because one of my front-ish teeth is crooked. I will say that I think it's from Disney World more than Disneyland (although I've never been to Disneyland) because the background looks like part of a meet and greet area and Alice and Mary Poppins frequent in the United Kingdom part of Epcot.

So I'm going through all those posts on that tumblr, and this is another question that popped up - do the princesses wear false eyelashes? Or just tons of mascara/have really thick natural lashes?

The link I posted? It has a certain four letter word that micechat doesn't like (resonably so). The starred word starts with the letter "f", if that helps you get to it!

    I can't. I live too far away.
But it looks like a ton of fun! You should definitely audition.
