Who here went to the May 2nd audition at the Disney Rehearsal Facility at the Animal Kingdom? Hey Winterlily, you look quite nice. I am not so sure who you may get, but you should definitely audition. Your face could definitely pass for a face character.
hey does anyone know what size the princess costumes actually are?
thanks @MagicalJenn i can fit into a U.S. 2 or 4 so hopefully I should be okay :) i'm just hoping i'm not too thin!
okay thanks @WDIShowWriter :)
@Kaysha, I think you'll be fine, a size 6 wouldn't be overly thin
@WDIShowWriter, I'm not so sure about that. Somebody that used to work as a former princess, said that she was a size 4 when she audtioned and that the size they provided her was a 4 also and it fit perfectly. Plus I've never seen an overly skinny princess either. A size 0 would be pushing it. I've seen some Cinderella's and Aurora's that look much larger than a 6 also.
@MagicalJenn thanks for your reply :)
Oh and another question.......I briefly know what happens at a look alike audition but if anyone can give me any tips or tell me what kind of things happen that would be helpful! :)
@ErickSemel hey i'm not actually sure if it's a 2-day process tbh (so if anyone could let me know that would be great). And basically at a look alike audition the first round is purely based on looks, pretty much everything apart from your hair as you'd be wearing a wig anyway. If your lucky enough to get through that your improvisational skills are tested and you perform a short dance routine :)
the dance routine doesn't have to be perfect as disney just want to see how well you move (mainly for when you will be in a full head costume). Then ypu try on a costume to see if you resemble a character!
If anyone has anymore info let me know please....like what kind of dances are done and what kind of things you have to act out and prepare :) thanks!
@WDIShowWriter the most important thing is height , which your pefect for a fairy or child character! And your weight should be fine :) if you think about it fairies and children especially are on the thinner side anyway :)
Also, don't they like big foreheads? lol
