    They ship to England.

The dress alone is $84/£52. It says what the price is for under the price.

I now demand pictures! Not of you wearing the wig, mind you, but you trying to keep Dreamer from putting the wig on you. That would be comedy gold right there.

FWIW, Skelly, and back on topic, if you do get the chance, I think you'd be a wonderful friend to that particular Pixie Hollow resident. Of course, I'm biased, since like a lot of MC'ers it seems, that one's my fave, especially after watching the sequence where she's showing Tink part of her job.

I love Captain Hook's TRs! He always looks like he has so much fun with the characters.

Oh, it's SO much fun!! It's just like a regular night at DCA, except everyone is in costume and having an amazing time. They have character settings set in place all over the park, and you can even go around trick or treating. It's amazing to see grown adults getting candy and having fun with their kids; it's like everyone is six again. That's what I love about it. It's just a BLAST! I'm going this year with a few of my friends, and we're SO excited!!!! It's going to be loads of fun! I haven't been for a few years, so surely stuff has changed, but I bet it's just as amazing Does anyone know what the AP rates are this year? I know they changed the prices for admission...

    Re: Disney Face Character Auditions

If anyone is interested... here's the d/l on the "zoo crew" (we are not furries) auditions... as they were when I auditioned successfully a few years back.

    Step 1: Register and measure
If you aren't within the height restrictions of character groups they're casting (mouse: 4"10-5'2/3; munk: 5'2-5'5; tigger: 5'7-5'10; goofy: 5'11+), then you're done for the day. This part of the day takes awhile.

CUTS (2/3 of people are cut)

Step 2: Learn the Dance/Perform the dance
You'll learn a dance with everyone that wasn't cut in a large practice hall with a mirror. You'll perform the dance twice in a row... once in the front row, once in the back row.

CUTS (2/3 of the people are cut) & Lunch Break

    Step 3: Improv
You perform an improvisation (like any regular acting class), both as a solo artist and with partners in a group. You're told a situation and you begin the improv immediately... no planning

    Step 4: Group Interview
It's a job group interview. You walk in with 3-4 other people, sit at the table and get ready for a regular job interview.

CUTS (1/2 of the people are cut) & Call time for the next day

[this process normally goes from 9am-7/8pm on the first day, depending on how many people show up. We went until 7:30pm and started the day with 640... and had 33 for the next call date]

Step 5: Perform and improv in costume
You'll be dressed in a costume of your height group (you have no choice). You're asked to become that character and perform the same dance routine you learned the day before... again ... two times in a row. Then you're subjected to the "hellish" torture that is the real audition. You'll stay in costume for ~30 minutes and will be asked to remain active the entire time... improving, dancing, acting, partnering, etc. This is where your audition either comes to life or dies

CUTS (depends on performances... you won't make it through if you "die" in character)

Step 6: Trying on the costumes
If you've made it to this last step, and you're now seeing your beloved character's body parts strewn across a warehouse on racks and heads on the floor. You'll be dressed in a selection of costumes based on your height group and then the "character gods" shall judge your appearance in each costume. (i.e. I made Brer Bear look "stumpy") You must fit into 4 costumes in order to be cast, or else your scheduling will be too difficult.

    CUTS

Step 7: Welcome to the Zoo Crew!
On my audition date... we ended up with 22 new members. We began training 3 weeks later... and were working a full shift that next week.

As for face character auditions... let's just say that you'd never be able to pick out the preeminant Alice/Wendy ever in a million years on the street (long black hair & lots of piercings). The "wig process" is a grueling audition, and your feelings are bound to be severly hurt in the audition no matter if you get the part or not. It's essentially up to the "guru" ... and if she doesn't like it, you'll never have a chance, and should run to WDW where their process is a cake walk.
