    Real Dinseyland emergencies!

Has anyone ever been evaced from a ride for a real emergency, and not just something like the ride stopped, and it cant run again?

This is like a response to the thread about Ariel's float catching on fire.

So, anyone been evaced for something like that? I havent. I would have been really scared.

While being evacuated off of the Rocket Rods once, we were told by another guest as we were walking down that the reason for the stoppage was that a girl had her arm ripped off of her while on the ride.

It turned out to be false...

At least that is what the CM's said.

I witnessed a heart attack on the DtD monorail station. It was pretty traumatic.

A few times. Most recently in early January. A CM slipped and cracked his head open on the Autopoia track. As we were being walked off, we heard sirens and an EMS crew coming into the park from an entry/exit I didn't even know existed somewhere (it appeared) behind Tomorrowland's railroad station.

That's scary. Hope he was all right. As for the secret entry/exit - you're actually very close to Harbor Boulevard in that area of the park, and there's a bit of a service road between it and the berm that delineates onstage. That service road cuts across the berm behind Innoventions, which is how I'm guessing they got onstage.

It probably was false. Something like that would have been major news. Especially at DL, where something as minor as a guest stubbing their toe on a switchback post makes the front story on the evening news.

    I hope they lived!!

Wow. Once my uncle closed down Indy, because he had a heart attack on it. Well, in line. He was already past the film room, but he was just out of it, and not in the curvy parts where the height check is, or the stairs.

Well, ex-uncle. He was a creep.

And the other day I saw a woman on a stretcher being carted away toward Space, from the subs. Probably something to do with the enclosed spaces.

I haven't seen a lot of blood but I know there was a woman who was pregnate on the 4th and was throwing up in the planters and we couldnt get her to stop enough and needed to bring in a aid car and it was just a mess.

Once I looked over when I was on the route, and watch this lady scream and fall.. Her ankle got dissconnected and she fell onto mainstreet. I had to run to first aid because there were no radios around or security. It was nuts.

I once got evac'd from the PeopleMover due to a power outage in the park. That was about it for me.

Closest I ever got to a shutdown was in Indy, just about to board a vehicle.

I did see one lady in a stretcher going down the hub to First Aid once though.

I haven't actually seen a serious situation (other than an episode in the City Hall bathrooms that's not entirely appropriate to relate here..), but I've been evac'd on every ride except Pirates.

Also, REAL DISNEYLAND EMERGENCIES needs to be a TV show. Bad. Everyone get on that.
