I just got back from my 3 day trip. whew-- tired am I. It was pretty nice-- I took my husband who hates most everything, so we did a lot of things I would normally skip. I have picuters, but who knows if I'll ever get them up. Some highlights:
Saw someone famous on Pirates, but didn't get a good enough look at them to figure out who it was. LOSE
Saw Billy Hill and the Hillbillies for the first time--- LOVED it! WIN
Went on Small World (eh--same as before--pointless with an annoying song) LOSE
Went to Pixie Hollow (15 minutes wait for a fairie I'd never heard of) LOSE
Went up into the castle. Loved It! WIN
Went to Blue Sky Cellar. Loved loved loved it! WIN
Bought a hoodie that I love love love love--just what I was looking for. WIN
Ate a chocolate and toffee covered pretzel while watching Fantasmic!--a perfect moment. WIN
Got caught with my tickets I bought on eBay (ohhhh I'm in trouble now!!) and received curt word from the lady in charge at the annual pass office. No big deal-- I totally deserved it. LOSE
Bought a new deluxe annual pass-- (ohhh ahhhhh ouch! Full Price!) Oh well, I told my husband I'll have to go twice as often this year to make it cost effective. And yes I learned my lesson--no more ebay tickets for me. (no need to pontificate on the evils--I know I know. I stand as a humble example of what happens when you try to cheat the system. Don't be like your auntie sleepybear kids-- Cheaters never prosper and sometimes they get scolded at the AP office for it.)
Overall the trip was a WIN WIN WIN. Oh wait I forgot the biggest news of all............................................... ..
Saw FISHBULB getting off of Toy Story Mania. That's right a celebrity sighting of a MiceChat darling. OMG! Its Fishbulb--(insert Beatlemania scream here). I mean really--CHER WHO?? And he had his camera and everything. It was so exciting.
I'll put pictures up if I get around to it!! SB
My daughter took this!!
My daugther and her friends think that pretending to sleep in ride photos is hilarious. I played along. When in Rome..... But check out my sweet new hoodie.
My daughter's friend has an actual fear of people dressed as animals--especially mice. She spent the whole trip afraid of Mickey. This was our picture of her conquering her fears. Go Girl! I took her to watch Fantasmic! After I said, "See Mickey isn't scary--he's good." She said, "I was just thinking how powerful he is and if he wanted to fly over the river and kill me that he probably could. He did just kill a dragon and then make fireworks come out of his hands. He's so powerful." LOL!!
My daughter has an artistic eye.
My husband's favorite thing at DCA (which he prefers to DL) was beating me at TSMM. Not the ride mind you--just beating me. Sigh!
