Does it seem like it's time to upgrade the video monitor above the door to ESPN Zone?

It is. The screen looks horrible. If you are close to the screen you can't even see the score of the game

It's time to upgrade EVERYTHING at that ESPN Zone. They have on HD screen in their "screening room." The rest of the TVs in there are crappy old CRTs that are so small you can't see what's on them from halfway across the room. In the dining room section none of the TVs are of any substantial size and are again all older model CRTs. The games upstairs are falling apart, scuffed up or just inoperable. When was the last time the mountain climber was operational? And have they added any new games in the past 8 years? I'm surprised the company has let the restaurant get to the state that it is in.
Maybe it they should upgrade the monitor...

ESPN Zone is showing all the traditional signs of underperformance. Most noteably in the menu prices & all their accompaning upgrade pricing schemes for this or that side.
If you guys want to check out what ESPN Zone in Downtown Disney should look like, check out the brand new ESPN Zone that just opened at L.A. Live across the street from Staples Center. It's clearly set up for a vastly different clientele than Downtown Disney's ESPN Zone.
The only reason why that place gets the buisness is because of the name "ESPN" other than that, the place is a dump. I used to go for the food and drinks. I hardly ever played the games, the only game I played was the football throwing game. There was even a few times I had to wait like almost an hour for my food, they took it off my bill though. But still.....an hour?

yes it's outdated, but I don't care because it causes a bottleneck of sorts when something worth watching causes gapers to slow or stop completely in their tracks. if they improved the screen then, I'm guessing, it'll just cause bigger problems with gapers. I would eliminate the ouside screens completely and improve the screens inside so it draws people INSIDE. Isn't that the goal of the business?

I reject your reality and substitute my own
I can never read the score on the screen...even if I'm on the balcony of Rain Forest
Agreed! It's in pretty bad shape.
