Re: Why is there only one entrance/exit to the park?

Well, at one time, there was another public entrance to the park, and it was from Holidayland, near the location of the Haunted Mansion.

Everyone is contributing and making such great posts in this thread - awesome!

It is wise to have only one entrance and exit. I do wish they could something about the horrible bottleneck that occurs before, during, and after each of Fantasmic! showings, though. It is an awful area to be in while its playing - whether you are trying to enjoy the show or are trying to escape the madness of the crowds.

Re: Why is there only one entrance/exit to the park?

I havenot once worried that(nor lost sleep during my stay) the disneyland park only has one entrance.

folks, every public place has emergency contingencies to consider. and I am sure that the disneyland resort is on the ball regarding this issue.

add to this, i have always(and always will) feel safe at the park(s).

Although it's the norm now, it was actually one of the many revolutionary aspects to DL when it opened. Before that it was like the Santa Cruz Boardwalk at most theme parks; one could wander in from many points.
