I hope your being sarcastic. If not, do a little research. Mayans laid out a calendar. Once the cycle ends, it repeats just like our calendar every year, our weeks, our days, hours, minutes and seconds. One ends, goes to the next, repeat. This isn't hollywood. Don't expect a worldwide quake once the day changes to December 21st....

I just can't wait to see ALL of the NEW DCA! I would pay admission to be there the whole day in 2012, and then make my final judgements on whether DCA is worth the price (or even the name Disney in its title!)

In response to the comment about RSR having a fastpass. I don't see a reason why it won't be given a fastpass. After all it is a true E-Ticket.

Red Car Trollies will be the first ride I encounter after entering the park, so that will be my first. I'll ride one all the way to the other end of Hollywood, where I'll disembark and walk to Cars Land. There, I'll ride each of the rides. Afterward, I'll dive into the Little Mermaid dark ride. Then, I'll do a hodge podge of things while awaiting Disney's World of Color and the Electric Parade.

The Little Mermaid. BFFs and I (BK15 on MC included) have already cemented the promise of our Disneyland/DCA trip for opening day (pins, etc). It's common knowledge that that movie and Ariel have always been my favourites. (There's home video of me shakin' it to Under The Sea in diapers somewhere...)

It's nice to know that 17 years later, nothing changes. I'ma be the wibbling trooper standing in line for 6 hours and emerging with starry eyes, blabbering to myself incoherently and squeeing.

...uuhhhhhh, right, yeah: and to see her HAIR! Yeah, man. Technology. Totally excited for that, too.

Wait, wait, wait! TLM will CERTAINLY fit in DCA where they are planning for it to go. After all, Paradise Pier is supposed to be on an oceanfront amusement park, and The Little Mermaid's human castle/town was set in a oceanfront locale. SO...TLM will fit in.

As for RSR, I'd have to agree. The whole Carsland thing is not a good idea.

I'll probably walk in, and think to myself, "hey whats this, DETAIL? What do they think this is, a DISNEY PARK??? This can't be DCA." Then I'd walk out and get a refund.

More seriously though, I'd probably go on to either ToT, Soarin' or CA Screaming to get a FP, then wait in the 2 hour line to ride RSR...then ride whatever ride i got the FP for (probably soarin with the new film), and then wait in the 2 hour line for TLM...

Agreed! Paradise Pier is beautiful: and doesn't DCA already have the Ariel's Grotto restaurant? The entire park celebrates seaside California culture and has plenty of room to grow and room to house TLM. If it were built in DL, I'm afraid they'd have to cramp it up, take out a lot of effects, etc. Whereas being set in DCA as part of the renovation, it may have a bigger budget and room for dreamy imagineering as it'll be one of the greatest crowd-drawing attractions. In theory, at least.

Little Mermaid and World of Color, and then probably Radiator Springs Racers. Are the bumper tires still a go, or are those not happening?
