Attractions Worth Spending time on...
All the E-ticket rides tend to overshadow other little things at Disneyland..
are these attractions worth the time? :
Catching a movie at the Main Street Cinema?
Disneyland®: The First 50 Magical Years?
Innoventions?
Tiki Room?
at DCA:
Disney Animation?
Re: Attractions Worth Spending time on...
Of what you mention, I'd recommend ducking into the Main Street Cinema for viewing some of the old cartoons...it won't take long, though, and there is no seating...It's good, but basically just a go in and spend a few minutes type of a thing. Tiki Room I highly recommend, it's a fast-paced show, a good place to rest your feet, and very signifigant in the Park's history.
Re: Attractions Worth Spending time on...
The Cinema is a nice place to relax for a few minutes, but nothing impressive. The 50th exhibit is actually pretty good, I'd recommend it if you have time. Innoventions I wouldn't bother with, it has two bad pre-shows and ends up taking a long time for what you get out of it. Tiki room is a classic and definitely worth seeing, not quite a must see in my book, but right up there. Animation is actually really cool, one of the better non-ride attractions at DCA especially if you or your party are fans of animation. Many fun interactive displays and some nice little shows too.

I say take some time and go to the Animation Academy in DCA. It was so much fun, my husband and boys went 4 to 5 different times.
Re: Attractions Worth Spending time on...
thanks for the advice everyone.. ill prob definitely stop by the cinema and maybe the 50th and disney animation academy.
tiki room seems more geared for children to me .. dono if the fiancee would like it too much.
Re: Attractions Worth Spending time on...
Everything but Inoventions. I think everything is good (or Decent).
Re: Attractions Worth Spending time on...
Disneyland®: The First 50 Magical Years?
I heard this closes March 16th somewhere..
is that rumor or true?
Re: Attractions Worth Spending time on...
50, Tiki and Animation Academy.
Main St Cinema is cool to duck into... you don't have to stay in there long.
The house of the future is worth the foray into Innoventions as well.
Re: Attractions Worth Spending time on...
I highly recommend the Animation building at DCA. It's one of the few great attractions at DCA actually.
All the attractions you mentioned are worthwhile for at least one time. Except Innovations. Stay clear from that mess.

Yes it is. It took the place of "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln" during the 50th. Lincoln was supposed to be brought back a wile ago, but it never happened. It will close to reinstall Mr. Lincoln on the 16th and will be closed for about a month I believe. Check Al's latest update for more info.

Was going to say the same thing. ;)

One thing you definately have to do is hitch a ride on the Mark Twain or Columbia. It's so cool being able to go on the River of America - especially if the Disneyland Railroad happens to be going by. It's also pretty cool to be able to waive to people at TS Island.

I agree.
Tiki, whoever it is "geared" for, is a classic, and enjoyed by both the adults and children I know.
Likewise, the Main St. Cinema gives a classic connection to where it all started.
Besides, what are you going to fit in that area anyways if you take it out? It would probably end up another parcel of unoccupied valuable Disney "land".
Innoventions, on the other hand, is not worth the land it is sitting on in my opinion. There could be something done with that area that could be so much better. Innoventions has run its course as far as I'm concerned.
