Re: How would rate Disneyland's Hamburgers?

The fries are made out of real spuds (a rarity in this day and age of processed foods) and if you get 'em fresh are pretty good.
The burgers on the other hand are historically (at least going back to my first visit in 1968) just plain bad.

Re: How would rate Disneyland's Hamburgers?

I've never been all that fond of their "fast-food-y" type offerings anyway, and the burgers are really no exception -- overrated and quite overpriced. Get more of your money's worth and go to a sit-down restaurant that offers some GOOD cuisine.

Re: How would rate Disneyland's Hamburgers?

If you are going to DL and really want a hamburger, I suggest walking over to the McDonalds on Harbor Blvd. And I'm not even saying that McDonalds hamburgers are the best there is, but they are much better than anything the DLR has to offer. And cheaper too.

Of course there's always In N Out...

Re: How would rate Disneyland's Hamburgers?

Somewhere between cardboard and Burger King. (which is to say NOT good)

The ONLY place I'll get a burger is at Taste Pilots, but even then it's about once per year since I usually get the chicken sandwich.

I mean, how hard is it to make a good burger???

Hmmmmmmm, In-N-Out!

Why can't Disney work out a deal with them?

Re: How would rate Disneyland's Hamburgers?

I haven't met a burger at DL yet that I liked.

Sad to say...

Most of our meals at the Park are at places like Rancho, Pizza Port, River Belle, Carnation Cafe, Blue Bayou and Club 33, so burgers are rarely offered anyway.

And that's OK with us.

Usually I would agree but this Sunday at Tomorrowland Terrace the cheeseburger was really good. I'm not sure if it had to do with the fact it was fresh or I was just hungry.

They remind me of the hamburgers you get at a gas station. They really are poor quality.

This is how I make my hamburgers:
a) Heat up George Forman grill
b) good quality meat usually from Costco.
c) take about 1# meat add most of a package of Beefy Onion Lipton Recipe Secrets
Grill,
Quite good

Re: How would rate Disneyland's Hamburgers?

I guess if you really want a burger at Disneyland. I think the best (weird word to use) is at the Village House in Fantasyland.

Re: How would rate Disneyland's Hamburgers?

IMHO, Disneyland does not do hamburgers. Steer clear if they try to make you think otherwise.

Re: How would rate Disneyland's Hamburgers?

The Village House is where we usually get our hamburgers. But don't compare them with any other burger because Burgers in Disneyland are in a class of there own.... the cardboard group.

Disney needs to find another source to supply them with tastier hamburger.

Re: How would rate Disneyland's Hamburgers?

In Disneyland itself, I never get a hamburger...I do from Taste Pilots occasionally, they are marginally better there for the toppings and fries and such, but if you seriously want a hamburger I believe La Brea bakery has one on the menu that is better than what you're gonna get in the parks.
