Going 2 hours before park opens

I know you may think i'm insane but here's the deal.

One of my friends is going tomorrow so i really wanted to go and meet them in the park.

However, the only time my step dad can drop me off is at 7 AM @_@

Lucky for me the park opens at 9 tomorrow so...

Any ideas of what i could possibly do for two hours? Is DTD even open that early??

please respond as fast as possible. Thanks!

There are security people allowing the guests in that early? Lol this is going to be a rather interesting experience.

Check various transportation alternatives. Trains, buses, etc.

But, no, there won't be much to do at that time.

Oh, and I'm glad I saw this thread. On Monday.
I don't consider this insane. It's possibly your only alternative. Now, going because you WANT to be there two hours before, yes, that would be insane.
I hope you had a good time!

I was going to say go visit one of the hotels and have breakfast there. I had fun walking around the Disneyland Hotel. I don't know if I had two hours worth of fun, but it can eat up some of the time.

Getting up that early can be a challenge - might be moot now (Monday noonish), but the Security folks will know what is and is not open yet. LaBrea Bakery or the Doughnut shop most likely will be, and if they aren't Whitewater should be...

Not sure if you could enjoy the concept art at the Disneyland Hotel hallways. But that was quite a treat. I think there are some Downtown Disney stores open for breakfast. Don't quote me on that.

Rope drop is cool. Browse through the stores.

Well, I guess I got things started for those that responded today, to just be talking to ourselves. Haha! I didn't pay attention to the fact that Goover has come and gone already!

i entered through the side opposite of DTD and the cast members were not letting anybody in until 7:45 AM to get all the magical morning hour people ready.

Not to mention it was freezing cold.

Thanks for the nice helpful comments though. Not sure if i'll ever be visiting that early again Lol.

    Decidedly off-topic:

Printed newspaper? How quaint. I understand you put coins in a slot, pull slowly, and there it is.

They'll even put one on your lawn, or by the door of your hotel room....WOW...
