Fun Disneyland After Midnight

Yensidnaf posted this video on Youtube. It goes a little into what an unseen shift of cast members do to refresh the magic of Disneyland each night. All areas viewed are onstage, though I think they did show someone wiping off a monorail's windshield.

That was GREAT!

NOW....my question is this....How much of that is actually done TODAY? I know the Bears are no longer, and that technology has advanced a lot from 20 years ago. I remember hearing as a kid 25 years ago that they would put a fresh coat of paint on almost everything and that the streets would get washed down each night. I remember being quite impressed a the street sweepers that would walk the park during the day and sweep up spilled popcorn and other trash.

Alas, I see that some of those practices are no longer...but just exactly how much of this cleaning/repainting/maintenance/etc. goes on after hours? Are they starting to care more now days (ie. the redo of California Adventure, and the report by Al about what is being done about the congestion during the fireworks, etc.) Are we going to see more ACTUAL caring about what condition the park is in and what the guests want? Are we going to see maintenance being done on a regular basis? Are corners going to stop being cut?

YOUR THOUGHTS......

Well I know that plants are replaced every night...windows are cleaned every night, all streets are washed down and all rides and ODV carts cleaned. A lot of detail is still put into the parks every night....
