    Construction behind Tower?

So I was talking with my DCA CM brother yesterday. I asked if he knew anything about the rumors of engineers being sighted out in the Timon parking lot, perhaps getting started on a new attraction. He said that he and his coworkers have seen some construction outside of Tower, out in the parking lot area. He didn't know what it was, and no one he'd talked to did either. Anyone have any info?

LOL, I hope a big attraction goes in there, not another restaurant or store. I hope it's either Rock 'n' RollerCoaster or Test Track, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I know how reliable statements like this can be, but a DCA CM told us that they were thinking about opening up a walkway from behind Tower to the Farmer's market area, maybe to revitalize that as well.

Again, just passing on an unsubstantiated rumor, but I really like that idea. It would remove the "dead end" feeling to the Hollywood area.

That would be great, there really is a problem with that - the parks lands don't flow into one another. I mean it literally takes FOREVER to get to california screamin.

They really should do something with the incredibly large body of water they built for the park that remains practically unused.

From what I understand, it is going to be a new support building for the character department. It is not going to be a guest area.

I agree. Whenever I've walked to Tower of Terror, I've always gotten the feeling that I've just smacked my face into a wall; the only way out is to backtrack all the way back through the elephant gate.

Hmmm...Tower Of Terror in Florida is the same way- end of a dead end street. (Sunset Blvd to be precise)

A lot of people don't like the layout of Disney/MGM, but I thought it was fine except for this.

Well, RnR coaster is at a dead-end, but ToT is more at the end of a "T," wherein left is to RnR and right is to Fantasmic.

However, both of those sides of the "T" lead to a dead end. The only way back into the main section of the park is to backtrack. I think that would still constitute as a dead end.

Critter Country and Toontown at DL are at dead ends ......... maybe they should connect them with a Pooh-themed skyway, bulldoze the existing Pooh ride, and build a Bambi ride in its place ........ just a thought .......
