Trip Report What's this? An MGB TR? Hooray!

Why hello everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend... I know I did!

Yesterday Pacman (Shawn), Jennyy, and I took our weekly visit to Disneyland and met up with Kritter (Nico) and Sir Didymus (Marcus - later in the day) for some fun. We got there around 10am and parked in Timon. We got to the Disneyland gates and saw that DCA had lines halfway through the esplanade

.That's almost unheard of!

After we made it inside the park, we met up with Kritter and went on Roger Rabbit's CarToon Spin. It was seriously walk-on!

Then we played with the fun stuff in ToonTown.

"Hurry up! We have to get to ToonTown station before the train leaves!"

"Dangit, we'll just hijack this fire truck."

"SHAWN! Get the luggage and stop goofing around!"

Well, since we missed our train, we decided to go to Mickey's House to see if he knew when the next train was going to leave.

It was a little chilly in the morning, so Nico decided to warm up a little bit.

We were informed that Mickey was filming in his barn, so we had to head back there to go talk to him.

I hope he knows he has gophers in his backyard...

"Mickey is BAWK that way!"

It looks like Mickey has decor for the new Celebrate Today! promotion.

I like to make moosic.

So does Nico.

Looks like these hands can use an extra hand!

We finally make our way to see Mickey and asked him for the next train's arrival.

"Thanks Mickey! Thumbs up!"

"Hooray! Thank you!"

"You are so sweet, Mickey! Thanks!"

Since we had some extra time on our hands (try about a few hours

), we decided to do some more stuff in ToonTown.

I love this light.

I'm on a boat! I'm on a boat! Everybody look at me 'cause I'm sailing on a boat!" (If you know this song, you get bonus points for being completely AWESOME.)

Jenny scoped out Nico and Shawn while they were in line for Gadget's Go Coaster.

Dun....

Dun....

DUN DUN!

While on the boat, I got a picture of the two on Gadget's.

After their exciting 20 second ride, they met up with us to play on Donald's Boat.

"My heart willllll go ooooon and ooooon!"

Weeeee!

More to come in a few minutes...
But first, a public service announcement from me!

"When being a boat, make sure you bring your swim trunks and your flippie floppies because if a dolphin starts splashing and getting everybody all wet, you're going to need them!"

(That was another I'm On A Boat reference, by the way)

Welcome back!
I hope you all liked my advice if/when you get on a boat.

We decided to leave ToonTown and go to Fantasyland so we can get a quick ride on Pinocchio.

Then we headed to Sleeping Beauty's Castle for the fabulous walkthrough. I didn't get pictures inside just because it was crowded and didn't want to take forever. But I did get some nice pictures of Aurora's statue.

Noon was calling and it was time to go to the meet. If you were at the meet yesterday, you probably saw me, Nico, and Shawn spaz out to go meet...

We also saw Rafiki, but he had to run off and be a baboon somewhere else. The group all decided to eat at White Water Snacks and after we were finished eating, we parted from the group.

Shawn got an awesome dinosaur from the candy claw machine.

We went to DCA and into the Brother Bear Challenge Trail.

We spotted Koda and Kenai and gave them hugs.

Nico and Shawn played tag.

Shawn got tagged.

Let's play Where's Nico!

We saw the Miner 49'rs come out so we went to go watch them perform. Soon, we were up and going again. Nico and Shawn wanted to go on Toy Story but Jenny and I decided to sit on the lagoon's edge.

Pixar Play Parade being transported to the starting gates.

I'm celebrating construction for a better DCA!

Pixar Play Parade was starting soon, so we took our spots and hungout for awhile...
