Talking Another Brick in the Mall

Yea! We finally splurged and purchased a paving stone in the Walk of Magical Memories. The packet with our info just arrived and we were psyched to see that our stone is set to be installed right in front of one of the gates. Of course the install date is 2 weeks after our trip to DLR (naturally) but we're now part of Disney history... at least for 10 years. So anybody else out there got a paving stone, and if so where?

I got my mom a brick for her 50'th birthday in 2005 to go along with the 50'th celebration. And still every time we visit, we forget to check her number, so we spend 20 minutes trying to find it!

I've been needing to get one for my father as a dedication. I know they can't do certain things on the brick, so I have to figure out what I want to put on his.

They can only put names, places and dates. No phrases whatsoever.

    We've got three.

Our anniversary, 50th, and one with the kids names.

    Yep, part of history.

As a side note, someone made a mistake and sent us two of the 50th acrylic ones instead of just one. We called and told them about it and they said to keep it, gratis.

So, are you limited to two names or is there a certain number of characters you get?

You can pick up a brochure at Town Hall, Guest Services or call and they will mail you one. The easiest way is to download the application here:

    http://www.wdwinv.com/difiles/merche...der%20Form.pdf.

Otherwise, here's all the contact info for sponsoring a paving stone of your own:

Orders may be sent via mail, phone, fax or e-mail:
    Disneyland(R) Resort
    P.O. Box 3232
    Anaheim, CA 92803
ATTN: "Walk of Magical Memories" DL635B

    Phone: 800-760-3566
    Fax: 714-781-4236
    E-mail: [email protected]

    Hope this helps.

Yes, asa surprise wedding gift for my husband We finally got to visit it a few weeks ago when we went.. he loved it!!!

    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Re: Another Brick in the Mall

I've been wanting to get one of these for a few years now (coming upon 10 to be exact). Maybe later this year when and if I go for my birthday I'll order one.

    Thanks for the reminder!
