The "New" Space Mountain seemed pretty much the same ride to me. I don't understand how it took them so long to change the projections on the ceiling and add some different effects at the begining and the end tunnels. I am starting to think that maybe I rode the ride with some of the effects turned off. My ride vehicle did have music but other than that it seemed like the same ride that I have always ridden. Please let me know if I my ride experience was missing something.
nope. It's the same ride. They did have to replace all the tracks, but it's the same layout..:)
Same ride. Same track layout, but new track.
New steel structure fastened to the new floor.
And of course, it was constructed in the dark, so that would obviously add to the time.
