Muppets Vision 3D vs. It's Tough to be a Bug vs. HISTA

What's your favorite out of these three?
Just curious how often do they often these shows?
What is the crowds like for them?
How long do these shows run?

Re: Muppets Vision 3D vs. It's Tough to be a Bug vs. HISTA

Philharmagic > It's Tough To Be a Bug > MuppetVision 3D > Captain EO > Honey I Shrunk the Audience

So out of the choices in the poll, gotta go with "It's Tough To Be a Bug".

Hard to say. Haven't seen the Muppets show, but I'm familiar with HISTA and fairly familiar with ITTBAB. If I approach it objectively, the latter probably has the most going for it. Those AAs are pretty sweet.

Re: Muppets Vision 3D vs. It's Tough to be a Bug vs. HISTA

Sorry folks, I HATE ITTBAB. It's only purpose is seems to be annoy you with bug related 3D gags, wich is just irritating for me, especialy being afraid of bugs ever since being bitten by a red ant in kindergarden.

HISTA always scared me as a small kid and the last time I went on it I still didn't like it (that time not afraid though)

So I have to go with MuppetVision, wich sure, is dated, and still has a TON of 3D gags, but it's just more charming and enjoyable for me because it comes off as less "in your face".

Re: Muppets Vision 3D vs. It's Tough to be a Bug vs. HISTA

I like:

Bugs - For the show, it's cute and funny. No preshow though.

Muppets - For the preshow, it's hilarious. The show is old and boring.

HISTA - I am sorta bias because I worked it and watched it enough times to last a life time. Eventhough, I am not too fond of it, I still miss working it. It's slow, doesn't get to busy. It's busy for some reasons: 1) Space is down. 2) It's raining. Guests tend to go indoors for the rain. and 3) It's hot outside. They go for the air condition. I dislike the preshow, it's a glorified Kodak commercial, that is all I got to say.

Yeah, I miss the old preshow. It didn't have that Kodak commercial feel.

Re: Muppets Vision 3D vs. It's Tough to be a Bug vs. HISTA

I have a softer spot for the Muppets so I went with that. BUUUUUT, It's Tough To Be A Bug is a better show as a whole. There's small parts to Muppet vision I really loathe but overall, I love it.

I wasn't that big of a fan of philharmagic. Maybe I just need to see it again... further back so I can see it all. I think I was too close and just confused and disturbed by how it really had little to nothing to do with Mickey. And it's HIS philhamargic? Nonsense. Plus CG was weird.

Bug by far. I like the other two, though.

Re: Muppets Vision 3D vs. It's Tough to be a Bug vs. HISTA

My vote - I don't waste my time on them.
I've been in all three a few times. But after that "third" time ... I've never done them again. It's been several years now since I've been in any of them.

Film based attractions just don't hold up as well as fleshed-out ride-throughs do.

As stale as an old piece of bread, and as boring as a stack of white envelopes.

All three were wonderful shows in their own right.
I seemed to have enjoyed the muppets throughout my life .. so I feel Muppet Vision may be considered the better.

But the show originally showed up in Disney/MGM in Florida in 1990. So it's a nice 20 years old now. Something new please!

Muppets with a cannon launched Penguin for the win.

Re: Muppets Vision 3D vs. It's Tough to be a Bug vs. HISTA

If you only have one day in the parks, then none of them is worth it. If you have a couple days then Bug, then Muppets.... and if you need some air conditioning then HISTA.

Muppet Vision 3D all the way. I don't know how many times I've seen, but I still laugh my butt off.
