Grad Nite? Should I go?

I am part of Carson High's Class of 09 and our grad nite will be at DL. I'm pondering wether or not to go since I go every weekend. I know how long it is but I need answers from people who have worked or been at Disneyland's Grad Nite.

1. Is it worth the $75 bucks since my AP doesn't apply to this event?
2. If I go, what rides will I expect closed for the event?
3. How busy will the line for Indy since they won't offer the single rider.
4. Is Space Mountain expected to have it's Rockit layover?

Thats the questions I have in my head at the moment. Appreciate the help. Thanks!

There are probably only a few dozen times in your life when you know, in advance, that you will remember that day for the rest of your life. Never skip out on them if you can help it. Grad Nite is one of those events. It is worth the $75. It would be worth it even if the price was much higher. Do not miss it.

Re: Grad Nite? Should I go?

Do it. Even though you go every weekend, you still don't get to stay there all night. It's a whole new perspective.

I still regret not going to mine. I went to the school-sponsored one instead and it was terrible.

Re: Grad Nite? Should I go?

It will be a different way to experience the park, much different from going on a normal day with an AP! I would say definitely go.

Heh?! $75?! Last year it cost me $135! You should definitely go. It's a once in a lifetime experience.

LONG. All the lines are terribly LONG.

Re: Grad Nite? Should I go?

Heeeey I go to CHS too! :o

I went last year and the line for Indy was pretty much just as long as Space Mountain's (120 minutes). Pretty scary.

I don't think they'll use the Rockin' layover for Space Mountain. They didn't last year, which was odd.

I'd guess it is different everywhere, factoring in the cost of transportation to and from.

Re: Grad Nite? Should I go?

Coming from someone who had her grad night at a race track, definitely GO. My parents went and told me everything was crowded but it was still an experience. Even if you have a bad experience, you'll still be doing something that not a lot of people get to do.

If you search this site for grad night, you'll get a lot of trip reports and accounts which might help you make your decision.
