That "certain" smell in the parks.

Is there a certain, distinct smell or smells in DLR that are favorites? Smells that no matter how many times you visit are always the same, always familiar and comforting? Or smells that you wish would go away? Or even ones that when smelled elsewhere bring back memories of visits to the parks?

For me walking down Main Street always brings a sense of comfort. It has a sweet, "warm" smell. Probably from the baked goods and candy being made.

I've also noticed that Star Tours has a certain smell that hits you as soon as you enter the building. It's not food or floral but more mechanical. It's always there, always the same and has been for as long as I can remember.

The fog in Pirates has a very distinctive smell that I like a lot for some reason.

The oranges and pine trees in Soarin', the musty smell of the Pirates water, etc.

When you walk in on Main Street and smell the "freshly baked" cookie smell (the really nice chocolate chip cookie one), its not really the smell of cookies baking. It is actually a chemical that DL pumps out to give the tourists that impression. That is why you can smell the cookies a good distance up Main Street.

The Pirates of the Carribean smell. It's a musty water or building smell. One that you expect from a building centuries old. I guess it's similar to Haunted Mansion and It's a smallworld. Love it.
