22nd March 2009 Sunday Noon Meet Report!

This morning gave host to an extraordinary meet of Disneyland fans from all over the world, of different tastes, sizes, and shapes! Truly no mortal man could ever achieve such a masterful meeting without the aide of the wonder-team known as the Disney meetup group! A bastion of wit, strength, and preparedness! Take heed, my words do not do justice to this meeting yet!

Allow me to iterate over the amazing things which occurred at todays meeting:

11:45 AM - I arrive at the South-west inner spoke of the Hub.
12:05 PM - I leave after awkwardly waiting for a meeting I was told happens every Sunday without fail.

- I sipped my coffee I had received just minutes earlier at the Market House.

Truth be told, I am still in shock and awe at the amazing things which took place today! I shudder to think I was a part of it!

your watch was obviously an hour ahead of time as when 12:05 came around there was already 6 of us standing by the bench, an extremely small group compared to normal meets but a group nonetheless.

If you left at 12:05, you left too early. Those meets even if they start late, always has a latecomer or TWENTY until 12:30-1pm. And as Almondot said, they were there... perhaps you didn't recognize them?

I wasn't there even though I was on Disney property. (grand californian)

I tend to agree with Coheteboy. Sometimes there are people that show up early, and then sometimes we will start late, depending on who else shows up. So, even though I wasn't there yesterday, people do GO to the meets.

Yeah, we didn't get there until 12:15pm, so you can't really expect people to be there exactly at noon.

We got to the parks kind of late yesterday, but eventually I'd like to show up to one of these meets...just gotta get me out of bed early enough for it!

The meet is usually from 12 to 12:30/12:45.... there's usually people there by noon but sometimes not. Leaving at 12:05 you obviously missed people. Bummer!!! Hopefully next time you will be able to stay longer.

wow I thought this was a meet report, there used to be lots of those here, pictures and reports of sunday meets.As a lurker for a long time I used to love seeing these. am I missing something or are they not done any more?

What other days do micechaters meet?

Unless someone posts in the Meets and Events Forum that they're going to be at the parks and invites whoever or if there is a different event, the only day that there is a set-in-stone meet is Sundays.
