Celebrating an 11 Year Olds Birthday in the Parks (Photo Heavy)

So a couple of days ago we set out to the parks to celebrate our daughters 11th birthday. We let her invite 3 friends to come along for the fun. The forecast called for rain but there was nothing we could do about it as we planned this a couple of weeks ago. On that note.......

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATLIN!!

As we arrived we saw this in the parking lot and the girls had to have a picture with it.

After the tram ride we arrived at the Main Entrance Plaza.

Our first stop was Celebration Point to take a photo there.

Then a picture with Sleeping Beautys Castle.

Up next Pixie Hollow and some sillyness in Toontown...

So off to Pixie Hollow we went...

One of my daughters friends is being silly here..

And then it started to rain.

The sign in front of Pixie Hollow said it was a 15 minute wait but we ended up waiting about a half hour. As we turned the corner we saw Tink was there along with another fairy that I have no clue is because I yet to see the movie. Tink saw my daughters B-Day button and asked how many seasons she was. Cute.

After Pixie Hollow we were off to Toontown. But first the girls wanted a picture with the Cheshire Cat.

Umm, so yeah, off to Toontown!
The girls went on Roger Rabbits Cartoon Spin then we took some more pictures.

Here are the girls being silly with the weights.

    More to come soon!

Great pictures! I just love them. With all the girls posing in front of the "Celebrate" sign on Main Street I can see the effect the designers had in mind. Perfect. Ahh.. to be eleven again and celebrating with my best buddies at the Happiest Place on Earth.

The other pixie/fairy was Iridessa. I never know if they are all fairies, or pixies. I met Iridessa, when I was there in December. You were lucky to get two in one photo.

Happy belated birthday to your daughter.

So after Toontown we went to Small World. I won't bore you with the pictures I took inside because god knows there have been plenty posted here already. But here is one with the girls outside of the attraction.

Oh, and one thing. Didn't Small World just get over having an extensive refurbishment not too long ago?

So after Small World we headed over to Fantacyland. My wife and I set some rules and let them go on a few rides while we rested our feet at Carnation Gardens. So they went on a few rides and it was time for the first showing of Billy Hill & The Hillbillys. Of course being the first show there was a line to get in so the girls got in line so I could go snap some shots of the Laughing Stock Co. show. This was my favorite shot that I took of the show...

So we go inside the Golden Horseshoe and grab some seats upstairs to the right. My wife went to buy sodas at Rancho Del Zocolo since the line was long inside the GH. She came back in and noticed that there wasn't anyone sitting in Walt's booth. So she told a CM that it was her daughters B-Day and the CM said that the girls could sit there for the show.

Here's a shot of the Billys doing their Beatles skit.

So when they first came on-stage I noticed the Billy looking over at the girls alot. For those who have seen the show know a certain part of the show that is pretty funny. Figuring that this certain part of the show would be aimed at the girls I put my digital cam in video mode and caught this.

    Sorry for the shaking..

    YouTube - Katlins surprise

Still more to come but more than likely tomorrow as I have to get ready for work.
