The Billies do a good job of it at the Golden Horseshoe.

Good music is appropriate anywhere, including DL.

Even though I like the Beatles (and I am a hardcore rock fan), I would say keep them out of Disneyland. Maybe at Tomarrowland Terrace, but not anywhere else.

I'm a huge Beatle fan, but not in the parks.... for creative projects I could imagine it working great for background music to corresponding themes...Like I totally imagine Main Street when I hear "Penny Lane".

N-O. No. And I truly, deeply, madly love the Beatles. But I really do not like music from 'elsewhere' when I'm inside the park. It takes me from there and puts me somewhere else and brings in memories and all that.
I've heard cover bands at TT, and I heard a good one at the little stage in the UK section of Epcot. That's more than enough, thank you.
I also don't want Radio Disney broadcast at the park, or the 'songs' of Disney properties like Hannah Montana or the Jonas Brothers. I like Disneyland to be apart from the real world, tyvm.

You can tune the control pannels/music players inside Innoventions to play the Beatles. I always do this when I'm in there. I dim the lights and turn up the Beatles. You'd be surprised at the extra kick in people's steps you see when it happens.

So while yes, while I agree the Beatles wouldn't work technically as an attraction or something similar in DL, over there, it does.

I like the traditional ragtime/blues/jazz that is played around most of Disneyland, it fits. There's nothing 60s or 70s about Disneyland except the rides XD i joke, i joke.

So just for the sake of curiosity...

With a no on the Beatles, what did everyone think when the Red Hot Chili Peppers were soundtracking SM and CS?

Put it in Tomorrowland. That place is so outdated that The Beatles would fit perfectly with the themeing.

With all the theming issues this board has with Disneyland, you guys have no problem with The Beatles and Elvis being in Tomorrowland?
