It's just as slow.

And I don't think it could fit a family of four. Maybe two adults and two small children. But the line hasn't gotten any quicker.

Before this goes the way of Small World conspiracy theories: The boats are the same width, the seat is just higher and isn't nearly as awkward.

So have the lines gotten any quicker since more people can fit in a boat?

Umm... A lot of those "changes" before and after can be explained by the lighting and the flash used (or not used) to take the pictures. Even if you use the same camera and settings for both trips you weren't duplicating the photos in the exact same places.

Aside from a few heads turned to different positions, there were no wholesale changes I could detect in Captain_Jenny1987's two sets of pictures.

Unless you count a blue bedspread turning to coral and Wendy getting new nightgowns, and the Back to London scene the top hat got it's accent ribbon painted a darker blue when compared to his nightshirt...

(The color gamma stayed pretty much the same, if you use the alphabet blocks and wallpaper as a static color reference.)

I liked the new seats as it was easier to get in and out of the boat.
