In general, if you can spell it you can chew it.

Former first Chief Engineer of the Santa Fe & Disneyland Railroad, Harley Ilgen, was known to be quite accurate with his chew. Walt Disney himself gave him special permission to chew tobacco while running the trains.

God forbid you were a train conductor who got on ol' Harley's bad side. Speeding down the line, with the wind blowing back, Harley could fire off a wad that would usually hit its mark perfectly!

    Good times!

As long as your are spitting into a container and disposing it properly and not chewing it in an attraction you are fine.

Re: chewing tabacco in the park

I was asked by a CM to remove my chew while waiting in line for BTMRR even though I had a spitter. I thought about it afterwards and agreed with the CM and thought that was fair.
I do not know, however, if it's okay to do it while walking or even in a designated smoking area; but I haven't had any problems, just as long as I had a spitter.

A "spitter" is what is usually found left behind in a POTC boat, HM Doombuggy, or any other ride vehicle for that matter, by an inconsiderate "chewer"...

And just so none of the chewers gets their undies in a wad, I'm not saying that all chewers are inconsiderate. Just the ones that do the rude things like spitting in the walkways and those that leave their "spitters" in places other than the well-themed trash cans.
