Smile A Sincere Note of Gratitude

(I posted this moments ago in Guest Relations, but I think it should have been here. Please accept my apologies for the boo-boo).

To All MiceAge / MiceChat Staff:

I just wanted to post a note of thanks for all the hard work, wonderful writing, and excellent photography that gets posted on this site on a daily basis each week. I check this site each and every day because no matter how my mood, homesick thoughts of Disneyland always brighten my day (I'm a SoCal native transplanted to Memphis, TN). Kevin Yee's and Al Lutz's insights, Darkbeer's photography, Werner Weiss' excellent Yesterland articles (the architechture comparison articles were beyond wonderful), Steve's DL Railroad lore, Andy's Dateline columns, not to mention guest columnists and message board posters - I have always been very impressed with the depth of coverage that you've assembled in your team. It's warming to see so many people engaged in a labor of love.

I've always been very enthusiastic about most things Disney - the man himself, his original park, the classic films, etc. Growing up in a "difficult" home life, I could always count on one day each summer of visiting Disneyland, leaving the circumstances of home behind, and having a grand time. The wonderful part about that now is knowing that there is such a diverse group of like-minded people that keep my thirst for Disney-related information satisfied. I look forward to a day when I can bring my family out to Disneyland and make it to a MiceChat gathering in the park.

In any event, even though I'm fairly certain you receive a lot of thank-you's from folks on this site, I wanted to take this moment to give you one personally. As we know, all good things do come to an end. For my part, I hope that day is well beyond the horizon and that the folks of MiceAge / MiceChat continue their good work for years and years to come.

With sincerest gratitude,
Tony Renauldo
Olive Branch, MS

Re: A Sincere Note of Gratitude

You summed up my feelings almost exactly Tony ~ great post.
Like your many visits to DL as a child, I come here in part to relax and visit (at least virtually) my favorite place.
That and much more are the reasons I try very hard to keep all my posts positive.

Cheers,
Scotty

Great post, I think it's not said enough that the folks who run this site do an outstanding job, as well as all who contribute content of some sort.

It's nice to have a place to go and geek out or just catch up on the goings on around the parks.

Well done people, truly outstanding.

(Now we need you out standing on the dock)

Had to.

What a great post, I whole-heartedly agree with you! The team that runs MiceAge & MiceChat do an awful lot, and I'm so grateful that I can keep up-to-date with all the latest goings on from all of the Disney resorts! Without MiceChat I'd be lost!

Thanks team!

I know exactly how you feel! Living in TN (or MS or Vermont etc.) can be a very different experience then living in SoCal. We look at you guys like, "Wow they get to go to DL every weekend!" And of course out here is tends to be wet, cold and snowy and of course just a bit bleak during the winter.

"I'd rather be at Disneyland!"

PS - From Deer Lodge, TN - Expecting snow on Monday / Tuesday
