Anyhow, besides that, the meet sounds fun... and the elevator plunge of Eisner's demise is inspired.
Florida's ToT clocks in at about 3 minutes 30 seconds.
DCA's ToT (without 5th Dimension room) is 2 minutes 10 seconds.

The mirror effect show scene and the only other show scene is on another floor where the 1939 hotel guests are seen. Together it's about a minute .. with the other minute a series of drops. In short ...... one of Disney's shortest E-tickets. To me .. because the ride is so short ... it registers more like a C-ticket to me.

Re: Now It's Time To Say Goodbye (To Eisner) Meet - Friday, Sept. 30th

Lets talk about the meets on Friday, specifically where to meet.

The meet is designed in three parts, to allow those who cannot make all the parts a chance to stop in and say hi.

So we will start about 4:30 at the Cove Bar (next to Ariel's Grotto) at EC, while we will have a special toast right at 5 PM, in honor of the "end of the work day" and the end of the evil Mikey's reign, the meet is casual and is designed for people to show up anytime between 4:30 and 6 PM, closer to 6 PM, we will have a "toasting" party, using Dean's idea of reading some of the special names for ECA....

Shortly after 6 PM, we will wander over to Tower of Terror.

We will gather at 6:30 PM in front of the old dried up fountain (where the lighted sign is), basically at the end of the north/south street. TIme for another photo or two with the masks I am bringing. Then off to ride the attraction, we might need to do it twice to get the "special" photo we want..... (FYI, the Mikey faces will be "on a stick", and without eyeholes, so they can't be called a mask, which would not be allowed in the parks).

Then off to Disneyland, and a chance to ride HMH, due to the potential large queue set-up, I think the best place to meet will be next to the NOS Railroad entrance. We will be to the right (west) of the stairs, far enough away to not block traffic.

The HMH gathering will be at 8 PM.

Once again, everyone is welcome to attend just one event, or all three.

By the way, would love to get at least 21 folks for the 6:30 meet, so we can have a "full" elevator, and can get a great photo...

Plus this way we won't get in the way of other guests who want a "normal" photo....

Gee .. what an exciting weekend coming up.

This is just as eventful as the July 17th birthday celebration!!!!!!

It's hard to beleive after 20 years as company CEO ... Michael Eisner will be no more!

Plus all the gay day stuff planned over a 3 day weekend.

Interesting .. how these two events are combined.

    CAN'T WAIT!!

    I'll wait til Gay Day.

I think the best time to dance on his grave is the 1st day Disney has been Eisner-free since the 1980's.

October 1st baby! New year; new leader

So what do we dub as his "grave"? Perhaps infront of the "California" letters of DCA? Since DCA is his "love child"? Think Evil Minion. Think! We have to think of something!!

Why is there no poll choice for 'I wish I could'?

I really do wish I could celebrate the leaving of Eisner with everyone, but I'll have to settle for having my own private celebration.

Here's hoping that his successor will be much better.

(We need a toasting smilie... lol)

    uhhh ......

    that's really a good idea!!!

From DCA .. after riding ToT .. the next step in this gig .. is to march over to the Haunted Mansion.

It's at that point .. that perhaps Darkbeer and some cordinated help .. that we all do a parade together up Main Street.

    Seriously!!

    This is a momentous ocassion.

How many major (hated!) entertainment conglomerate CEOs gets the ax .. after a good decade of lousy and mediocre decision making .. to make many of us wish he left 10 years ago??????????

Lets make this a huge event ...... with people taking pictures.

Heck ....... even us Micechatters right here ... did something pretty unique and special (unlike any other group) ....... where we staged a "storming of the castle" and then immediately descended upon King Arthur's Carrousel .... with every steed taken by one massive group on July 17th.

    LETS MAKE THIS SPECIAL!

If you are a local with an AP .. or someone coming in from out of town ...... lets do something wacky right here in the center that was once dominated by Eisner.

Not DLP way over in France ...
Not WDW ..... far removed from Burbank California .....

but lets make some noise right here in the "epicenter" of the Walt Disney Co. known as "Disneyland"!!!!!!!!
