    Post Attraction Wait Times

Since Spring Break is in Full swing I thought this would be a good time to ask a question. I'm sure that most of you use Fastpass these days however, I'm curious what is the longest wait time that you have experienced at Disneyland or California Adventure without using Fastpass, and which attraction was it?

2 hours for TSMM. That's including breakdowns.

2 hours for Nemo, that broke down also.

I guess Space Mountain wins at 1 hour.

    Re: Attraction Wait Times

Almost four hours for the opening of Indiana Jones.

The line was backed up to the hub and starting down Main Street. Of course, from there it didn't look too bad because we didn't know how long the darn que is once you pass the main entrance. And believe me, EVERY switchback that could be squeezed into that que was in place. We kept saying "we have to be close now - it can't be too much further". Ugh.

CRAZY! I know, that was a while ago, but after that experience, I swore NEVER AGAIN!! I'll go on a new attraction first thing in the morning, or wait months until the line is shorter. I managed both for Finding Nemo. I waited a month, and got there well before the rope drop. I scooted right over to FN, and it was only a 15 minute wait.

70 minutes for tower of terror, 60 minutes for Grizzly River Rapids. That was on Tuesday too.

One evening, years ago, I saw a 300 minute wait for splash - and people were still getting in line!

    Re: Attraction Wait Times

I've never waited more than an hour for anything, but I've never been on an attraction opening day. When I go to the park I'm able to utilize a strategy that keeps me from waiting too long for anything. The most ridiculous wait I've ever endured would be hands-down 45 minutes for Monsters, Inc. That was on Veterans' Day.

    Re: Attraction Wait Times

I never wait for than 45 minutes, and even that takes some convincing. I went on President's Day this year (which was my birthday) and longest I waited was 40 minutes for Space Mountain and 30 for Peter Pan and ToT. I've developed my own good strategies for avoiding the crowds when I go for full days.

    Re: Attraction Wait Times

The longest I have ever waited for any attraction was 80 minutes for Splash Mountain. And that's because we decided to just have fun talking and joking in the line.

Most times, we use FastPass or come back later when the line is shorter, cutting our wait times to around 20 minutes tops.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

    4 days, 7 hours, 5 minutes.

    Oh... seriously?

Nemo, 2 hours. And it had been opened for months!

I think it was the 90 minute wait for Monsters Inc. So not worth it!

    Re: Attraction Wait Times

I make it a rule to never visit a new Disneyland attraction within its first year to avoid ridculous wait times. That being said, last night at around 4 PM my 8 year old simply HAD to do of all things 'Gadget's Go-Coaster.' We were in that stinkin' line with what felt like 5,000 screaming, rock climbing, whining children for about an hour and 15 minutes. Heck, I don't even ride the darned thing!
Even she came off saying, and this is a quote, "That was a 35 hour wait for a 35 second ride!"

525,600 minutes!! :P because thats how I measure my wait times.

No actually, like 4 hours for FN when it opened. But only because we were eating breakfast in line, and had brought plently of stuff to keep us busy for that long.
We are currently imagineeing a new attraction for you!

Please enjoy all the other attractions in fabulicious Vasooki-land!
