Fantasmic gets a new Dragon (PICS)

I was on the Disney website and their promo video had a full body dragon (full body for the most part) that, however, does not look like the concept art. It has short arms like a T-Rex that aren't connected to anything. An interesting find, but I don't think it's our dragon.

That video has been around for a long time. Even before Summer Nightastic was announced. It is usually on the Disneyland website during the summer season.

It's funny how some will question people when they give some info about where they got it from or how do they know this. A lot of people do have access to info that is given to CMs and also just happen to be at the park when they are setting stuff up. Disney always has signs up whenever they are doing active filming during park hours. I am glad for those who do share info that may not be readily available to most people. Asking for their source or how do you know all the time just seems plain wrong.

Well, it can seem wrong... But most of the time they don't mean anything by it - they just want to nail down whether this is Wishful Thinking, Rumor, Conjecture, third-hand news, or Confirmed Fact.

Saying "I was at the park today and saw an Official Disney Sign at the entrance warning that they would be doing filming at the Rivers Of America in the afternoon. And in the afternoon on my way out, I went by and saw them setting up..." would throw that straight into the Fact category.

Or you saw all the info printed in the Cast Member Resource Guide when you got in this morning, but obviously you can't admit to that or they'll be All Over You for breach of confidentiality...

...So you simply "happen to wander by" the river on your way out, and take note of the sign right out there in public for all to see, and see the film crew setting up...

...And when you get home and post the info about the filming to MiceChat you state what you saw - and just conveniently forget to mention anything about the CM stuff that is still "Confidential!". It's okay, nobody will ever know how you knew to "wander by" that way. Just that you did, and that you saw something that's out in the open and obvious for any Guest to see.

I have seen that commercial and even though the Dragon is CGI'd in, it is matching the way Al mentioned that it would seem to crawl out of a cave or hole in the ground. This is much better than the old commercial. I just hope the drop the mist screen of the animated dragon setting the rivers on fire though. That would cover up the new dragon coming out and that's not what we want to see. We want to see it crawling out and then doing it's thing. I really hope they can pull this off.

Fellow techs I talk to say they are still having loads of problems with it which might delay the show re-opening.

thats pretty wild^^As for the new add, I didn't think it was disney at first. I seriously thought it was a joke until the end. I cnt wait to see the show, I herd that Disney is holding a mini press event on june 11th. Is there any truth to this?
