Practice Rally Fun - Parks were PACKED!

Well been home now for about an hour and my back legs and feet are killing me! The rally was only 4 hours, I can not imagine 13 hours! I would love to try, but alas I think my body is gettin' old and wouldn't be able to handle that pace for 13 hours!

Got to the La Brea Bakery about 7:30 and registered and waited for everyone else to show up or finish breakfast and coffee.

Dusty and crew handed out the rally ride question sheets at about 7:55 and we all were off to the races! The lands involved in the rally today were:

Fantasy Land
Adventure Land
Frontier Land
New Orleans Square
Critter Country

We started (of course) in Fantasy Land. Here was the hub at 8:05am

The line for Peter Pan was only 5 minutes, that wont last long!

The answer was here:

Proof of riding! My girls..

Dumbo Next, and the answer:

Fun Riding!

Off to Storybook Land Canal Boats, and the answer:

Next off to Alice in Wonderland, we see team: "3/4 of the Clinkerbells" beat us to it:

And the answer inside:

I hate trying to take pictures with me in it!

Off to Casey Jr and quite a few Mice Chatters are there:

An approaching tunnel (wink, wink)

Pirates next:

Jungle cruise:

Tom Sayers Island (or whatever it's called now!):

Pooh:

And Answer:

Next big thunder, hmmm, always one step ahead of us Clinks!

Looking for Gears:

Pinocchio- Dart board has the answer!

The answer on Snow White:

Ran through the castle for the Blue Green and Red answer, then had a dilemma. It was 11:20, we had a fast pass for Indy at 11:40 (cutting it close eh?) and still needed Small world and Splash Mountain (Which has been closed all day to this point). The Clinkerbells warned us that Small World had 20 minute wait, sure enough they were using a portion of the extended queue. Well, lets go for it anyway!

We got off Small world at exactly 11:45 and resolved ourselves that there was no way to get Indy without ending later than noon and encountering a penalty. So we turned our sheet in at 11:51am. Many people were already there. We waited for the scores to be tallied

At about 12:20 Dusty announced the winners. To our total surprise. WE WON! Wow! We couldn't believe it!! Here was the booty we got:

We had an awesome time today and thanks to the MiceChat crew for hosting such a fun event! If you want to have some fun, walk 50 miles (well maybe not 50) and have more fun, sign up for the Rally on May 30th, I am sure it will be a blast!

Thanks again to Gregg (Sir Clinksalot) for giving us some advice before the event. Nice to see you again buddy!

One last thing. The parks (especially DCA was packed to the gills which I wasn't ready for). The 2fer is starting to affect DCA attendance I believe. Keep that in mind. Thanks for reading!

Re: Practice Rally Fun - Parks were PACKED!

Glad to see the first report of the day! We would so have been there, but saving our 3000 mile flight for May.

Congrats on the win though! Good to see even with the mini rally you still can't complete all the attractions in the allotted time! Makes strategy important!

Awesome pictures, it looks like you had a lot of fun. Now I'm getting nervous about the actual rally. Gotta come up with a strategy soon.
