    3days for 99 + Birthday + AP = ??

I hope I can write this clearly enough for you all to understand - dealing with this birthday gift issue is messy business!

I am a So.Cal annual passholder and am blocked out in July/August. Usually, I get the 3/$99 pass so that I can go into the parks 3 times during the blockout period and save $30 in blockout fees over the 3 trips. My birthday is in July, while I am blocked out.

So I have two questions out of all of this mess. A) Can I use my 3/$99 parkhopper as entrance on my birthday in July and then get the $69 gift card ? and B) If so, can use both the 3/$99 parkhopper and the $69 gift card toward my annual pass?

I know that the using the 3/99 parkhopper towards your pass means your pass is valid from the day of FIRST use on the card - but that is fine because my pass expires shortly after my birthday.

I hope this made sense and thanks for the help!

I don't think you can use the $99 promotion to get a b-day card. I thought it was an AP thing?

    1. You can use your 3 day/ $99 for admission and your birthday and opt for the $69 gift card.
    2. Using the $69 towards your AP is ok
    3. Not sure about both in conjunction

tukogirl, you can use both your 3/$99 pass and the fun card to purchase your AP. The value of the AP you get has to be at least the value of the media you use to upgrade. So, $99 + 69 = 168 means that you have to purchase at least a So Cal AP.

Wow. So you either get 3 blockout days and $69 for free, or if you look at it the other way, a $6 AP.

Man. Sounds like you got the best deal of all. Happy freakin' birthday.
