Hooray for first trip reports! (lots of pictures!)

So I finally escaped reality for a day by going to the park! First time since June! Oh, how I've missed it.

Let me first apologize for the quality of some of these photos. I had to use my moms camera, and couldn't for the life of me, figure out how to use it.

And I should probably start by telling you guys that I went with a small group of 15 people from my church's college group. It was a delightful little trip. We stayed at a church in Long Beach, and it had no showers.
13 girls + no showers = Showering in the....sink.
WOOO! YES!
hahaha.

This is what our massive sleepover looked like.

That's not even HALF of it, my friends.

We arrived to Long Beach on Friday the 24th at around 5. Our original plan was to chill at Huntington Beach, but we had a BETTER idea- DOWNTOWN DISNEY!
Woooo!!

Okay these nachos are gigantic. And delicious. Needless to say, my friends and I shared it three ways.

And THAT is what happens when 3 starving girls get ahold of chicken nachos ;]

No mexican food would be complete without Horchata.

After this we decided we'd go explore the GCH. The lobby is probably my favorite place ever. I would SO live there if I could. Then I could have my own Suite Life show :]

HAH

We sat in the lobby for a couple hours just requesting songs from the Pianist. Who, by the way, was honestly the cutest thing ever. She got really excited when I asked her to play The Little Mermaid and saved "Part of Your World" for last ^_^

NEXT DAY!

We woke up and arrived at the park around 8:30.

Excited faces :]

Our friend hadn't been on Indiana Jones yet *GASP* so we decided it would be our first ride of the morning (no surprise there, seeing how it usually always is, anyway).

I LOVE DUCKS! ^_^

Nom nom nom

I don't think you know how EXCITED I was to finally see Donald

We went to Pizza Port and the line was longer than most rides. But good god I waited it out! You know why? Because I wanted to say I had this....

And I did, and it was DELICIOUS.

We were waiting in line for IASW and there was a lizard chilling on one of the animal topiaries. Hehehe

YAY!!!!

This is what awaited us when we came out of Space Mountain.
Does anyone want to explain to me what this is? It freaked me out, man! There was no plane in site. Those little white dots that make up the letters just popped up from nowhere. Aliens!!!!

TERRIFYING!

Ariel's cute though.

Now the part of the day I was waiting for; Celebrate Today!
Ahhh I LOVED IT SO MUCH!
It was such a fun experience. It was just one big dance party, and I love dance parties :] When it was over, I was in such a ridiculously good mood (which is saying something, because I was in Disneyland) and all I wanted to do was dance.

That cast member was cute, heh.

Just because I love mermaids :]

I didn't get to visit Bibbity Bobbity Boutique, which was sad, but I did notice that they had the cutest window display ever up.

Snow White's Throne!

Cinderella's

Aurora's

Belle's

and ARIELS!

Look! She even has a dinglehopper!

And that puts an end to my first trip report ever!
I was only there for a day, and it hardly did anything for me.
MUST. HAVE. MORE. DISNEYYYYLAAAND!!!

AWESOME TR! I made a mental note of the gigantic nachos from Tortilla Joe's for the next time I go to DL. It's also nice to know that you're an Ariel fan, she absolutely rocks! By the way, how did you get such a clear picture of the main street windows? All in all great trip report; I hope there's more!

Thanks!
And yes I definitely recommend them. Make sure you get chicken though, because my friend had steak and didn't like it. But then again, she's a picky eater, so I don't know. Hehe
And oh man, I'm a huge Ariel fan, I sometimes feel bad for my friends for having to put up with me and my love for her. Haha.

And as far as the clear pictures of the main street windows go, I actually have no idea how they turned out that way!
Possibly the angle? I really had no idea what I was doing, as it wasn't my camera, but I'm pretty positive it was on the digital macro setting, and I'm willing to bet that had something to do with it!
