The fortune teller figure in the Pieces Of Eight shop is a fella named "Fortune Red" (Get it?) He was designed and art directed by Disney Legend Sam McKim. Look closely at the map in the case and you can see McKim's familar drawing style from the first park maps. Visit him and drop a few cents in to get your fortune card. We need to support Fortune Red so that Disneyland doesn't remove him in an effort to make room for more rubber snakes!

Oh, thanks guys... I was really wondering. I wasn't fishing for compliments as much as wondering which shots you thought worked best for you, and which one(s) you're using as desktops.

but thanks again... or should I say, "You're Welcome"? I'm confused now.

wait a sec... that's not a desktop image! Are you just stretching it? Doesn't it look kinda' jaggy and out of focus in that case?

All I did was right click and set as background. Still looks great! Thanks again.

Thanks for my Monday morning fix DabbyB. I changed my wallpaper today to the picture of the Mark Twain at night (the one kind of at an angle). I especially love the night shots you take !

I was just gonna post the same thing as Villains Fan! The night shots work really well for desktops, cuz you can see your icons easier. I'm proudly showing the Mark Twain at night - very cool. Thanks again, daddyb!!!

I was thinking of you when I did the shot of the pacific wharf through the trees, because the dark area of the trees on the right and left of the screen make a great place to put my icons. Also I shaded the left side of the photo of the orange flower with the reflecting sun statue thingy in the background to see the icons better as well. You'll notice sometimes my photos are off centered so those of us with out icons on the left side of the screen can see our icons well, and the picture is more centered between where our icons stop, and the right hand side of the monitor.

As always, beautiful pictures. I love the flowers in Disneyland. I always look forward to your photo updates on Mondays. I've never been to Disneyland so your updates are great for me. Thanks!
