    Haha!

I'm trying to think of Disney properties that could work for a Maliboomer retheme. Goofy Sky School is a quick retheme until they replace that ride, I don't see why they couldn't do the same for maliboomer.

All that comes to mind are the following:

-rocketeer - but this takes place in the late 40s. definite'y too late for the pier theme.

-buzz lightyear - but... that's even MORE modern.

Which reminds me... Toy Story... quite a modern property! GAAAH, i'm trying hard not to go on a massive tangent.

    LOVE, LOVE your idea.

With this make-over of Paradise Pier ..
they are trying to emulate the classic appeal of
the amusement piers of that era ...
and no amusement pier is complete without a "classic" funhouse of some time.

It would need to be a walk through, like the way they use to be.

Weren't there rumors about the queue for Screamin to be a funhouse? Or is that just too excessive? If they're not then I can see a fun house possibility.

I also wouldn't mind a fun house "ride". Remember that Pirates and Haunted Mansion were meant to be walk-throughs also. A ride will just control the crowds a little better and also keep people moving right along. You can have all the same fun gags and tricks found in a fun house but in an attraction.

(i'm thinking something similar to Pooh's hunny hunt in tokyo)

I got one how about you bulldoze it and make a statue of the dozer knocking it down saying,"This statue is dedicated to the end of Eisner era cheapness that made you wish you went to a carnival instead of spending a ton of cash for generic rides. We'll never do it again.

I am so glad to hear they Disney is getting ride of these Carnival rides. Please do not get me wrong -- there is a place for these kinds of rides (State Fare, County Fare, Carnival cruise ships) -- just not in Disneyland! I believe that the wonderfully talented Amagineers could come up with a vertical ride that would be like a really scary elevator!

I kinda disliked this idea before...but what if it was a "tunnel of Love" that was converted into something else. Just as a backstory though.

I say we bull doze it and add a new giant Lighthouse. Add some spires and make it very Victorian. Then we make it a old fun house where the villains hide out. It could be two stories and very entertaining. Some live actors some animatronics.
