4/23-26: Curse Your Tiny Paper Hat!!: A Kuzcochik Trip Report

Well I'm only like a week late with this right?
I apologize as I got back from the park and that dumb thing called reality snuck up on me. On the plus side only like two more weeks of school (plus a summer class and I graduate w/ my BA )
Anyway, you guys don't care about that.
You care about pictures and funny stories and crazy times!
You people are insatiable! YEEESH!!

Sorry... I'll be good.

Anyway, Last weeks wild and wonderful Disneyland trip started on Thursday when Darkwing Chuck and I jumped in his car and took off for the park.

But first we were attacked!!
BY DINOSAURS!!!


(anyone who makes the trek to Disneyland down the I-10 has seen these guys before, but it was the first time I'd ever actually stopped there. It was also featured in Pee Wee's Big Adventure)

I was a little worried myself (also in this pic the scenic Cabazon Burger King)


The T Rex was ready to rumble or eat us or something


But I decided to save the world by taking on the dino myself!


Seriously, he was no match for me


However, the t rex decided to call upon Captain Planet and his Planeteers. Lousy Wind did me in

I got bored and decided to run from him instead. Lousy guy wouldn't even chase me


Notice high winds and my 10 pt landing (everyone loved me except the judge from Pangea.. i think he was mad about the me fighting dinos thing)


Seriously the wind was hella lame! (though I can totally pull off the wind blown look )

And the lesson to you kiddies! Never trust an Apatosaurus with shifty eyes!!


Anyway, an hour and a half or so later we were at The Happiest Place on Earth (tm)
And our first stop was to ye olde (or I guess just months old) Pixie Hollow. The line was the shortest I've ever seen b/c of the construction walls. We only waited about 20 minutes


After asking the host if we could wait a couple seconds we were able to visit with Fawn, the only fairy I hadn't seen at the hollow. Sadly Fawn was very curt with us. Where I've had long/fun conversations with the other fairies, Fawn simply asked if we wanted to take a pic and that was it. *shrug*




Tink was sadly the same way (and not that I'm saying this, but Holy cleavage Tinkerbell!)




After Pixie Hollow we decided to go to Small World since Chuck hadn't seen it yet.
But....

SOMETHING WENT HORRIBLY WRONG!!!

My camera got all tilted!


Okay, no really. We were standing there and suddenly we noticed boats going by w/ no one in them. A CM informed us there had been a small earthquake and they just had to cycle the ride real quick.
They shut down the line


This is the second time I've been in an earthquake in DL and not felt it. It was kind of upsetting. Darkwing Chuck on the other hand was upset b/c he does not like earthquakes... or small world.... so he was pretty much an unhappy camper


I went crazy from bordom while we waited


Once I calmed down, we discussed important/serious topics like the windspeed velocity of a sparrow


And how the scariest thing in the world would be if the small world dolls came to life... and were made of wood!


The clock face mocked us!


Finally we made it to the boat and we were fairly relieved


Then that darned insanity crept back into my brain


(Not pictured) When we first got into the hello room we were turning the corner and a CM walked right past our boat on the side. Darkwing Chuck nearly jumped out of the boat. It was one of the funnier moments of my life!

We visited India


And we visited Africa


And we got attacked by giant butterflies!!!!


We contemplated the scariness of small world


They're watching us! Always watching us *shudder*


Finally free of the world of small we were much happier


We're on a boat and
it's going slow and
you know we're looking cool
and that's fo sho yeah


Over in ToonTown, the toons were in a hurry for some reason.


It was time to go back to Fantasyland. While there we saw that Storybookland was closed. Darkwing Chuck decided everyone needed to OBEY THE CHAIN. Cause it's serious business


More things happened at Disneyland, none of them all that important. There was food eaten at Cafe Orleans and there was a parade we tried to watch but decided to wait on.
Then we headed to DCA.
After adopting strange accents and pretending to pitch the changes to DCA to a board of invisible suits we hit up Mania b/c the park was about to close.
And guess who broke 200,000!! This girl! (ignore that Darkwing Chuck beat me like always)


I was basically dead after the effort however.


Oh and because there is a lack of pier shots on these Disney sites, here's some more for you. I'm just doing my best to stop the lack of information and pictures of this slowly developing area


Mickey was lit (no not that way! Food and Wine didn't start til the next day)


Spooky!!!


We decided to be lazy and headed back to the hotel early that night since the rest of the weekend would be crazy.
Instead we left the hotel at 11:30 to meet up with some friends at IHOP.

This was only the beginning however!
And I apologize for my super randomness. No I don't really apologize I just wanted to mention it cause that's how I roll! :P
The next day is coming soon featuring more friends, crazy times, and one of the coolest experiences of my life
By the way... next time I'm having people vote on my TR title, so I stop quoting 90s cartoons :P

Woop woop! Another Kuzcochik trip report, one of the best things about reading Micechat.

So, you were there last week when the earthquake swarm hit and didn't feel it? LOL...well, maybe it's better that you didn't feel any of them as it would have freaked me out.

Wait a sec - you say your trip started on Thursday, but your title says 4/21-4/24. I know for a fact that 4/22 was a Wednesday because I was at Disneyland on 4/22 and everybody was all "Happy Hump Day" all the time.

"Happy Hump Day, welcome to the wildest ride in the wilderness."

"Happy Hump Day, keep your head, hands, arms, feet, torso and any further appendages we forgot to mention inside the vehicle at all times."

Maybe I'm making some of that up, but 4/22 was a Wednesday. If you were there, you would know.

And plus also there's the fact that I was thinking, on 4/22 (a Wednesday, by the way) that wouldn't it be great to run into you at Disneyland. Not that you would know who I am, since I lack your proclivity to plaster my face all over the Internet, but once you got over that it would have been fun for at least a little while at least. Oh well.
