    Hyperion to be replaced by...

Rockin RollerCoaster, who thinks this is a good idea? then hollywood land would be like a best of DHS LOL. i all so think that they should randomize the drops of ToT it shouldn't be that hard to do. and maybe we should redoe the facade of monsters inc to be like a transporation center to have it fit better in the new hollywoodland. I am all so stoked for the expansion of the Grizzly Peak River area to condor flats it will look so nice. or how bout an Area 51 themed condorflats I know thats in Nevada but it would cool like have a deserty feel to it. well those are my ideas for today let me know what you think

eh. knowing disney, they've already thought out amazing things we won't even come close to imagining. for the re-imagined DCA.

No. The Hyperion is a great theatre and pretty much the only place in DLR to see a really good live show. They better keep it. The likelier possibility would be for Rockin' Roller Coaster to be put where Muppet Vision is. That area is pretty much a barren ghost town, and that would certainly add in some traffic.

I don't really see RRC coming to DLR, though.

Take out that beautiful theater? Never. That place is what makes the DCA ticket worth the price.

    I dont know....
I havent ever watched a stage show in the DL resort im always too busy trying to ride it all in one day.
Im gona have to say no.
a stage theatre is a nice thing to have in DCA and I think its the only one. Maybe get rid of muppet vision because 1 3d show is enough per park. Theres my 2 cents.

Sorry, but I, too, have to vote thumbs down. The exterior of Hyperson isn't up to my personal tastes, but it is a great theatre, and something sorely needed in DLR ... especially after the demise of Fantasyland Theatre into PFF.

While I wouldn't mind at RRC at DCA, I would much prefer to see innovative concepts coming forth. If the budget is approved for the 1920's makeover, then the attraction would also be thematically out of place (even with other thematic offenders such as MI:MASTTR and MV3D).

I do support the idea of Monsters Inc being themed better on the exterior though. I don't know if you were aware of this, but the original incarnation of Superstar Limo (the precursor to Monsters) was supposed to be a much more thrilling and zany adventure ... that was unfortunately nixed when Princess Di was chased by the papparazzi. Not only then we did get a tamed-down version of Superstar Limo, but the budget knocked down the building's original exterior ... which was supposed to be a miniature version of the Theme Building at LAX (read Jim Hill's stories on Superstar Limo for more of this).

As for Condo/Grizzly ... I do agree with you that the area should be beautiful moving forward, but I am not a fan of the Area 51 concept. Not only is it thematically incorrect with the park (even though Carsland isn't a shining example of this ...), but Area 51 is desert. If they were to expand the national park theme from Grizzly to Condor, then you couldn't really work in a desert landscape too well with that. Besides, I'd prefer any alien-themed adventures to go towards Tomorrowland.

I know. I keep seeing this thread title and reading "hyper heroin" and inferring that this is the stuff they feed the face characters to keep them smiling every day, and then I wonder what the hell could replace that kind of workforce stimulant.

It CAN'T be replaced, is the point.

    No way!!!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I think they should add to the Hollywood area. I thought they could extend the street in front of the Tower of Terror out towards the parking lot.

another place they could add an attraction would be the Stage 12 building north of the Hyperion Theater.

I like the Aladdin show, I always see it at least once when I am there. I also enjoyed the earlier shows. I do think it is time for a new show.
