This is so silly (and not really a ride), but I simply cannot cross the bridge to Fantasyland (I have to go around by the Matterhorn). When I was little and I ate too fast at the Coronation Cafe and I upchucked halfway going across the bridge. I leaned too far over and fell into the water. Duck poo all over me and I have been terrified ever since!
When I was a little kid, still in my stroller for pity's sake, I apparently screamed my head off when I saw the swans at the castle. I have no memory of this, but am reminded of it every single time any member of my family is with me when we are at the castle. This "sweet family memory" happened in the 50's for pity's sake. But as a grown adult every time I approach the castle I silently hope that the dang swans are not anywhere near it so I won't have to listen to this "cute little story" one more time.
As an Anaheim girl I can promise you we had no lakes full of lovely swans and those are pretty big birds, so I figure it's no wonder I freaked out.
'Course after those horrific swans scared it all out of me so nothing, not Harold, not TOT, not the dark scary rides get to me in the slightest.
But Lordy! To have fallen into the water and be covered in duck poo!...RubberMaid: I'm surprised you don't need counseling.
Sometimes when the head pops up out of the box in HM gets me a little jumpy the when you see the red eyes doesn't scare me but sometimes the sound of the abominable snowman makes me jump also, other than that, nothing really...
