But the one at DHS isn't an icon, so there's nothing wrong with it being a shop. Unfortunately, the icon of the park is also a shop. lol

True, the good thing is that we will not get a giant ugly hat turned pin cart as an icon LOL

Well DCA in 2012 will be much better than DHS (formerly MGM) in 2012 - but that's just my humble opinion.

Rides wise it will probably be the second best US park by 2012 actually, overall appeal will probably only be better then DHS though. If phase two happens I think it will compare well to Epcot and DAK as well, though I know that's probably blastphemy to some people.

No because at that time Disneyland was already one of the most successful theme parks. That cannot be said about DCA.

It's the 8th most visited theme park in the world. I'm guessing that's pretty successful.

Just look as World Showcase at Epcot. It didn't take them very long at all to put Meet the World into its Japan show building... What? Never happened you say? Well, then they must've come up with a better attraction for that space, like the bullet train idea, the Ginza shopping district, or the grand Mount Fuji coaster.... What do you mean that space is just being used for storage??

Ok. Well, then Germany had a partial showbuilding built for its Rhine River cruise. They had to have finished off that project by now, right? Or the gondola ride for Italy??

What do you mean they've barely touched that half of the park since Norway was built??!?
Epcot has a ton of space...and a lot of problems. The park is severely dated. When they start to need space, I'm sure those buildings will not sit empyt long. Just saying I'd rather have unusued theming for years that adds to the ambience then have nothing there.

No it's not, it's 8th in the US. It's behind several non-Disney parks, and several million visitors fewer a year than any Disney park other than Hong Kong.

I'm confused. What icon are you refering to? And which park, DHS or DCA?

Ah, but it's still in the top ten. Thus, a bona fide success.

Is the Carthay Circle going to eat the parade gate, and force the parades to go to HPB?

Yes, the Carthay will "eat" the gate. But parades will make a right turn into Cars Land and either exit out the west side to the old parade building or out the east side to a new parade building or around the back to the old. I don't know what the latest is on a new parade building.
