Awesome, I can't wait to see the pics. Thanks!
The Mickey audience is not made up of people; it has no racial, national, political, religious or social differences or affiliations; the Mickey audience is made up of parts of people, of that deathless, precious, ageless, absolutely primitive remnant of something in every world-wracked human being which makes us play with children’s toys and laugh without self-consciousness at silly things, and sing in bathtubs, and dream and believe that our babies are uniquely beautiful. You know…the Mickey in us.

Alright, I've just added an entry for the new Blue Sky Cellar exhibit in the original post. It will be merged with the old Blue Sky Cellar entry when the new exhibit opens.

Walt Disney Imagineering Blue Sky Cellar: Imagineering the Future - New Exhibit
Details: Blue Sky Cellar preview center will close to remove Midway Mania, Games of the Boardwalk, etc., exhibits and replace them with new exhibits focusing on upcoming projects.
Project Status: Closes July 10, 2009 to update exhibits.
    Open Date: Reopens July 16.

Interesting, so do you guys think they are going to go on top of the black box to make it look like big rocks sticking out of the water?

I'm assuming those rocks will be used to help disguise that big black box that will be sticking out of the water when the Bay is refilled.

Ok, I've been refreshing this page for more than 20 minutes!

I'm glad that there is always VISIBLE progress in the lagoon. I'm tired of just seeing that "stage" sitting there and not working. I really can't wait till the lagoon is filled up again!
Took mom to Disneyland for the first time in over 20 years this week! Woo!

Are the boxes the base of the towers that are supposed to be shaped like lighthouses?

I haven't been paying much attention to work in the lagoon lately. So, I am wondering: what are those black boxes exactly for? Light towers for World of Color?
