Is it just me, or do any other Cast Members feel that its not quite the best idea to explain the buttons of the ride consols? I'm not saying the photo of one is wrong, I mean, anyone with a camera can snap a pic, but explaining the functions to non-CMs? I would think you could land in hot water with Human Resources Compliance for that one.
I kind of had a moment in this thread where I thought 'oh my goodness, I should look away! This is some top secret mumbo-jumbo!'
But then I came back to reality.
The panels themselves (other than that last one from the subs) are labeled clearly and pretty self-explanatory. If someone wanted to knock over the CM and create mischief they certainly could, without any help from this thread.
They'd just go to jail afterward.

That console has sure changed since I worked Matterhorn.
And having an unload on the rotations now....that would make working those rides a piece of cake. No more jogging ride vehicles through the station manually, one at a time. Dispatching and exiting guests at the same time, with that potential for a 101 always on the horizon.
guess im outta luck w ppl on a website so great and full of disney fans
Sorry, as a former Attractions Cast Member and current CM I'm not going to go into details about the SOP to a non-Attractions Cast Member on a publically accessible forum.
Second, please do not bump your own thread... especially after only four hours with some pity party sob story. You aren't being ignored, just that the people who read your thread not having the information that you want. Folks that feel comfortable with your request will come through, just be patient.
