Thumbs up Thanksgiving Day Buffet at the DL Hotel

Disney Dining is now taking reservations for the Buffet.

We just made our reservations for the Buffet in the Grand Ballroom via Disney Dining (thanks, Jason!).

This will be our fourth Thanksgiving there. We have also had their meals during Mother's Day and Easter. They can't be beat!

We especially like the seafood section. We do some damage to the cracked crab and shrimp, and they have the cocktail sauce spiced up just right.

You can make a meal just out of the dessert bar! The chocloate fountain is to die for...

Anyone else going?

How much does this run?....could be a possiblity, that way I can get out of cooking a large meal for just the three of us.

Re: Thanksgiving Day Buffet at the DL Hotel

I did their Easter one one year. Got in on the very first seating, which, IMHO, is the BEST because the place only fills like half the room at a seating, so the characters have no one to attend to but you (and also the presentation of the food is in top form). Haven't done Thanksgiving, but I felt the Easter was a great experience. Not that the Wolfette would need it, but they have a lower table of kids food, all stuff they like.

OK, called and made reservations for our trio. The cost if anyone is wondering is.....$13.50 for kids ages 3-11. $55.00 per adult.

Sounds interesting. Depending on what my family does this year my mom and I might attend this!

With your broken foot???

Just kidding...

I hope that it is healed up by then, but if it is not, you can request a table kind of near the middle of the serving stations, so your walking will be kept to a minimum (if that's possible...lots of food to go back and forth for). Last year we had a wheelchair and they were VERY accomodating.

Hope you can make it!

Haha very funny lol.

I should be getting my cast and boot off by mid-November however I will still be hobbling considering I have to go through alot of physical therapy. I've managed to teach myself to skateboard with the boot lmao.

"skateboard with the boot!"

Now that...I gotta see!

For your own sake, don't cut the P.T. short. You might feel OK, but the deep tissue still needs to heal. Follow through with all of the P.T. and you won't be sorry.

Now I know how to recognize you at the Buffet. You'll be the one boarding to the serving tables! Just watch out for that huge chocolate fountain. If you knock that thing over, people will be lookin' for blood!!!

LOL!

Re: Thanksgiving Day Buffet at the DL Hotel

Lmao! I've already promised my friends to stay on my crutches through the P.T. so unless I go through some crazy crutch spill.. the chocolate fountain will only be drained by my stomach!

I'm hungry now lol.
