How long have you been on the club 33 waiting list

Just wondering who else is on the infamous club 33 waiting list and how long you have been on it. Ive heard someone who said there family member was at 7 years yet I met some people who were on the walk in walts foot steps tour who just got in ( 4 years on the list). I just get this itchin every once in a while to dream where my name might be. LOL

I have heard a lot of stories about the Club 33 memebership. First of all, please share any stories you all might have to make some believe the membership is worth it. And if you have never been to Club 33, it is a different DLR experience all together (some grand, some others so-so).
Club 33 is offered to corporations at an entrance fee around 10 grand (after the 'waiting list' with an annual fee of 2k (price includes admissions in the park for you and your party plus access to the Club)). The waiting list can range from 5 to 8 years depending on the corporations annual income. Club 33 is used as an insentive for cleints and important employees of your company. Celebrities are granted entrance to "the Club" at any given time. There is no "one time entrance fee." All I can say is that if you're on the waiting list still (from the letter you've sent and haven't had a reply), try to call the number they sent you (if you need it, I can get it to you in a PM Goofster). Otherwise, keep trying. Plus, you might not be able to get your company (or family) in after they have an opening. It's a frustrating experience, and I want to know if everyone else feels "is it really worth it?" after all the other magic that Disney has to offer?

I think the Club is a very special place. I have had the opportunity to visit, and have really enjoyed myself. I have been on the waiting list for about 2 years now. When at the Club I asked about the situation of the wait time, and they said that if you had got on the list over a year ago, you are much closer to the top than if you were to join know. I guess they have had quite a few people sign up. I think that I could be about 5 years away.

When the time comes, I don't even know if I will be able to afford it, but a lot can happen in 5 years Also, the fact that I don't currently live in SoCal could be a problem. But when it comes down to it, I think it would be priceless for all of the special events for members and the entertainment of business partners, friends, and family.

This is NOT the case. Trust me, I work downstairs, and there's a lot of celebrities who eat with us instead.

I have been on "the list" for a personal membership for four years now. I've had to "re-up" my interest twice (so they know that I'm still alive, I guess???).

Yes, I work at the Blue Bayou, and trust me, not all celebrities can get into Club. Otherwise our restaurant would be a lot more boring.

I tend to believe most people who dine at Club 33 are friends of members, who get in because of them.

That's how it worked for me and a group of 4 friends.

Let me just say the food was AMAZING. I bought a souvenier coffee mug/cup thing (like from Stabucks) but haven't used it because... I don't want to ruin it also took a napkin, and kept my drink mixer thing.

I won't say what my boyfriend has a souvenier.. as it might get him in trouble.

Does Club 33 get a lot of bussiness each day? Does it get a steady flow of members or does the place sit empty most of the day?

I've been to C33 about 12 times over the years and question whether a private membership is even worth the annual dues. First time was for lunch with the ex-Mayor of Anaheim's wife who hosted a luncheon and then my father's retirement dinner which date back to the mid '80s.

Being a small business owner for many years in Anaheim and a member of Westcot 2000, I was treated to dinner several times in the private dining room courtesy of Disney executives, sampled the menus for future convention clients while acommpanied by sales staff from the DL Hotel and bid on AND won several C33 dining experiences during charity events around OC.

While being a unique "adventure" in DL, and it certainly impresses out of town clients, I don't think the experience for a local SoCal resident is that much more special than experiencing numerous other 4 and 5 star restaurants in the OC/LA area.
