cool old photo my hubby found for me. Enjoy!
To All Who Come to this Happy Place.... Welcome! Disneyland is Your Land!
mmm.....the old entrance to the parking lot, nice! thanks for sharing.
I reject your reality and substitute my own
25 cent parking. Wow.
And date nights? Date nights?
Disneyland and 7 flags... more flags more fun! lol
Everybody's got a laughin' place-
trouble is most folks won't take the time to go look for it.
What, um, are those people doing in the bushes? Mighty suspicious.
Hey, I've done it. Jes' sayin'.
I wonder too HBG2
Wow, that was way before I was born! All I remember is when that sign looked all beat up!

That pic is swell! I love that Ford station wagon. Heck, the sign is the tallest thing in that photo! Amazing. I remember that sign from childhood.

Where is the driver of the car? In the bushes? And with his family around.
Maybe they didn't get the memo that JFK was going to be in Dallas.....
And wow, 25 cent parking AND open 15 hours per day. Sweetness.
I'm still tripping over date nights.
Parking went up to 50 cents in the 70's...that sure seemed like a lot back then!
I loved that old entrance and hand-lettered marquee.
When you entered that parking lot, you knew you were at Disneyland, right away! You could hear the train's whistle, the Mark Twain, you could see the entrance!
Not on ugly parking structure in sight!
Thanks for the great picture! It brings back really fond memories.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
I wish it was still 25 cents
Great picture. I miss the old marque and even the parking lot.
Funny, those oleander bushes are about 12' high now. Must be all the watering they got in the early days.
