Re: One Vehicle

I think I would DIE if I saw one of those bee hives driving down the street

Re: One Vehicle

Not long ago I had an outrageous and quite fantastic dream that involved an attraction using a vehicle very similar to the teacups used by the Tweedles in Parade of Dreams, except they looked more like the ones on the ride. These were self-powered (I think Flintstones-style like those POD ones, but you could sit) with the center wheel used not just for steering but could also propel the vehicle by quickly turning it back and forth, similar to those things you see at skating rinks you sit on and propel by hand with oscillations. The attraction involved going to various stations. A later scenario involved racing down streets at pretty high speeds (at a slight downgrade).

I thought about these, and imagined them being pedal-powered, possibly with a CVT of sorts if it could be done efficiently. And later dreamed a scenario involving just such a vehicle, except it was like a miniature golf cart and not that way-cool teacup design. I was using it at a parking lot that corresponded to ... Timon outside DCA.

Anyways, such a vehicle would be very cool, although not practical on your normal motor-ways here in the US. It would serve a purpose similar to that of a bike.

Re: One Vehicle

Just FYI, this has indeed become the idea of the next round of the Photoshop contest, so don't be shy! Whip up some images that depict the awesome scenes you're envisioning!

Re: One Vehicle

I'd have to agree with some and say an Indy EMV. That would be so much fun!

Re: One Vehicle

Oh yeah! I will take the Indiana Jones Jeep EMV anytime. I will say that my well-worn beat up jeep is better than your 2009 vehicle. It is run by hydraulic fluid and electricity.

Ok, maybe these other ones:

Splash Mountain Flume Log on a large lake park. Oars included.

The Starspeeder 3000!

A Doom Buggy will be nice too if got wheels.

The Underground Digger from Journey to the Center of the Earth from Tokyo Disneysea.

Re: One Vehicle

its the Indy EMV for me, I just love how that thing drives. It fits in with how I drive anyways AND all my friends fit in with locking seatbelts!

PeopleMover on an invisible track!

But First I'd change the vehicle to 50 mph... that would be awesome!

The idea of driving down I-5 in the fire truck seems amusing.

Re: One Vehicle

I think the freeway would make so much more sense if it was all older main street vehicles...haha

Peter Pan Pirate Ship - (in an Air conditioned bubble)! It would fly right over all the traffic!
