Sorry... didn't see any recent post regarding the GullyWhumper and was wondering if it was going to placed back as a prop again?

I was at the park today taking random photos and testing out the camera when I stumbled across this sight backstage...


At least they put a canoe next to it to keep it company.....

Park was packed during "Celebrate"...so I was directed backstage.

Awesome pictures!!

Doesn't look like they've done anything to the GullyWhumper other than to dry dock her. But hopefully once it dries out completely they'll clean it up, fix it up and put it back out on the Rivers Of America.

And great shot of the horses corral! Looks like they have barrels and a big ball out there for the horses to "play" with when they aren't working! Thats certainly a shot I've never seen before! To cool!

The last I heard was that the Gully was removed for good. That was a post on here a while back. I do not know if that was rumor or validated fact. In either respect it is good to see her.

Also nice shot of the Monorail... with the new windows no less... I haven't heard either way but hopefully the modified window design cools it down in there.

I would bet its coming back. If you notice on the other side of the boat there's a tall ladder to access it. Considering how long its been sitting there I would guess that they're repairing the hull enough to set it back in the river.

Gullywhumper will be back. She's in refurb as part of an ongoing set of refurbs on the river. The Nature's Wonderland railroad should be next.

The train will be refurbished with new paint and the animation in the cars will be fixed. Nothing drastic, but sprucing up of the river show.

And on a side note to the railroad...

In the queue for Big Thunder, there's that little train/engine, at the bottom of a set of tracks. You all know the one, right? Well, I've noticed that they've been working on the tracks and supports that are angled up towards the BTMRR tracks.

I think it's great that they're putting the time and money into fixing up the park, even in these little ways! ( I wonder if the marmots will be returning to the MTTNW train?)

Great! I was hoping they weren't gonna let it fall apart and then trash it because of it's condition. It's been looking REALLY shabby lately, with it's green paint from it's 56-59' days showing through! It's good to hear it will be cared for!
