If it's the current incarnation of Innoventions, Yeah, I would object too. I look at Innoventions as a missed opportunity.

I got to be honest with you. I was mad as he-double hockey sticks when I found out they were tearing up that beautifully wooded hill between HM and Bear Country to put in a log ride. Of course it does mean that they were able to save the America Sings AA's but even today they still seem a little out of place to me. The mansion was much more creepy back when it was off all by itself.

This is a weird question because what is presented in concept isn't always what you actually get in nuts and bolts. Rocket Rods is a great example of this. So to the OP... are we saying "yes or no" based on the concept presented to the public, or on the actual physical attraction once we experienced it?

Likewise I think age is an issue. I don't think it's fair to ask about, say the old Fantasyland Classics, because of course I wouldn't want antiquated 50's technology in a brand new ride. But I would expect a brand new ride to be leaps and bounds above it's 50 year old grandfather. Something new better have new tech, new deisgn, all the bells and whistles that come from 50 years of trial and error in storytelling experience.

And yet oddly enough Splash complimented the old Country Bears. I had my reservations but it worked. The installation of additional "Critters" didn't take away from the fun back hills atmosphere of the place. Splash and CBJ matched well and didn't clash... Pooh did that!
