Cast Members and Disney Fans/Guests Unite! For a little fun and confession time!
The question is - When at the parks, whether working or visiting, what do you do to not only pass the time, but to help enhance the magical experience? What are some of the fun things you do to add that extra magic? What are some of the MILDLY crazy things you do to break the monotany of the visit (this mainly applies to AP's that visit a lot). And what are some of the things you do to get laughs out of others, whether friends or family that are there with you, or the guests that you are entertaining?
For me, I can get a lil rowdy on Star Tours. When the ship gets shot by one of the TIE Fighters, I sometimes shout (depending on the types of passengers aboard - too many little kids, I won't do it) "OH MY GOD WE'RE GONNA DIE!!"
Sometimes on Indy, right before the hologram of the log at the end of the ride, if I'm sitting in the back of the jeep, I've shouted "EVERYBODY DUCK!" and have about rolled out laughing when the first row of tourists all duck at the same time!
Or most recently on Jungle Cruise. When going through the hippo pool, the JC Captains will sometimes instead of shooting the guns, will tell the passengers to all be very quiet so that they might hear the baby hippo cry out for mom. Then one of them yells "HEY MA!" There's been a few times where I've beat them to it. And the captain just goes right along with it.
And lately, with Fantasmic being down for it's facelift, the Mark Twain has been making night runs around the Rivers of America. It's been nice taking those trips during the evenings, especially right after the fireworks. Last night we took a trip after the fireworks were cancelled due to high winds. When passing the indian chief on the horse, (that you can see from both the river and the train) he raises his hand up to you as you pass. On the Mark Twain, the narration says something along the lines of "On the left, that indian chief is giving us a wave...." or something I didn't hear all of it. Maybe because my quick wit got the best of me and I blurted out "Looks more like he's giving us the finger!" Made my wife and a couple of people nearby break out laughing.
So as I said earlier, it's confession time!!!
