I just want to say that I hope those involved in the accident are ok.

Bruce,
Wasn't this methodology used with Indiana Jones Adventure? IIRC, a test vehicle went through the attraction essentially non-stop until a section of track broke. The section of track was repaired, and the process continued. Once the track stopped breaking - done !

I hope this is just a stunt and its not as bad as everyone is making it out to be...

Im sure Disney could get it done before show time. If anyone could, they can!

Something similar. I know the original tests ripped a few plates out during the turns! Eventually they corrected the programs that controlled the cars. Some of the "old timers" when I started used to joke about the cars taking the Overlook and Bug Room turns.

Like I said

To anyone wondering I have been in a graphic mood tonight and have a lot of duct tape ones. It comes from my time both on Jungle and in the Marines... I promise this is the last graphic I will use on this thread.

Sit in the head? As in the head of the dragon?

I was pretty sure that this thing was fully automatic.

Maybe the problem was that a guy was sitting in the head in the first place haha

Re: new dragon broke before the first show.

Does anyone know IF any cast members were in the Dragon's head during the accident? If so, is this something the Osha would be sticking their neck into?

According to a post above 2 individuals were almost killed due to their proximity to the head. I haven't verified it... others might be able to do so (my F! contacts are limited at best).

Re: new dragon broke before the first show.

Awesome video!! Well disney has about 94 hours (to public showing) as of right now to hopefully fix what ever may be wrong with the dragon. I'm sure they'll use all their resources to avoid this possible PR nightmare.

I took a direct screen shot of the YouTube Video to catch this interesting find:

Are my annotations correct? And BTW, If anyone knows the width of those tires, we might be able to find the length of that base...

Evil never wins. Disney should have known.

Good job Mickey!
