Sorry to disappoint those who hope they delay it without the dragon. There is no way they will do that. It would cause a line in City Hall a mile long!

With that said, attractions will shut down in some cases of bad show.

Is it possible that the dragon might appear but not go through it's moves fully? Sort of the dragon in B mode?

I want to see this thing in full-mode otherwise it's as if "well we tried to get this right but we just don't have enough magic to pull this off."

well i just talked to someone who confirmed the fallen head, and they claim from what they were told that it will be at least 2 more weeks till they fix it. but that they are working to get it done because they know the chaos it will cause if they dont open up with a new bucky.

i hope its ready soon!

Everyone calm down things go wrong but i expect them to be working roun the clock to get this fixed. Did anyone remember when they put in the new HD projectors things didnt go well. I bet the ROA will be closed this week if things dont go as planned.

I don't want to see this thing in any B mode, I'd rather hold out till all repairs are made before waiting 2+ hours out in the cold. I guess Malificent-on-a-stick is gonna have to do for now...

Hmm, well I hope they didn't trash the old dragon. She should be their backup for something like this.

Just the way the parks are run now, I can't see Disney putting off re-opening the show Friday. It wasn't always like that...but Fantasmic! is a big draw and Disney would have a hard time trying to put it off.

Here's hoping the new dragon gets fixed ASAP.

I'm not trying to start a flame war or anything, but I just have to mention you can still get a great view 5 minutes before show time!

Too bad about the new dragon. I do hope the "show will go on" this weekend.

Isn't this why they do "dress rehearsals", to check all the posible failures on the show? The new dragon should be ready by Thursday on press event, besides I don't think it's the first time they try it, probably this is only a rumor. They probably try it out every night sometimes I connect to the hojo cam because I want to distract from my midnite work and like at 2 or even 3am Disney is trying out the searchlites from the castle, and the castle lighting (and no it's not even a grad nite event) so I really doubt they are not testing also fantasmic. (This last friday they were testing some castle lighting at 3:40am) So cheer up the dragon will be there

Hmm, do you think it's possible to fit 2 dragons in the same pit?

I just want to say good luck to Disneyland's Entertainment department and Maintence Department into getting this problem fixed so Maleficent can go back to setting ROA on fire in her new dragon form.
