Why were there no Fireworks Sunday Night?

I found it odd for there was not Fireworks on a Sunday night (June 7th). It was not listed on the Park Schedule but I was still hoping for maybe a dress rehersal for MAGICAL (I was there on Wednesday and it was the same conditions: not listed but it still kicked off on time with Dumbo's debut)

But still, even if they weren't testing the new show I would have thought for a weekend there would have been the REMEMBER show. We were disapointed Afterall, it was the reason we drove to the park, to "CELEBRATE" Tony Stewarts first NASCAR cup win as an Owner/Driver by seeing awesome fireworks.

We couldn't even have an awesome Corn Dog because they closed the Corn Dog Castle down disapointed night, for sure. But that will NOT discourage from coming again! Next trip June 14th and 15th for the Electrical Light Parade, Fantasmic! and hopefully the new Fireworks show.

But on the upside I did get to ride on Peter Pan!

It's only in the testing phase right now...so no guarantees. Grand Opening is officially June 12th.

well I know for the new show there are no guarantees.... but why wasn't REMEMBER running either?

"Remember" is over and they don't keep a spare show sitting around back stage just in case.

ohhh.. I didn't know "Remember" was over... I thought it would run until the next show was ready. It's just not Disneyland w/o fireworks

Disneyland dose this alot. Magical is for the summer time only after Aug. Remember will be but until Nov. for the Christmas fireworks. After that I hear there be a new fireworks for the 55th birthday. So remember will not be here for long. Also there is time Disney will not do fireworks on sundays if the winds are bad but send they have been doing test on the new one last night was not part of it. What I hear tonight is the last night for the test to Magical until the 12th.

Remember is not "over." Thankfully, it returns for the fall. There were no plans for a dress rehearsal on Sunday, however.

Also, until Corn Dog Castle re-opens, corn dogs at DCA are now being served at Bountiful Valley Farmer's Market.

Bad news was not fireworks and good news was short lines at DCA. 20 to 30 minutes for Toy Story, walk onto Sun Wheel but I skipped that one, walked onto Jungle Cruise, Monsters was a one minute wait, Buzz was a short wait and not much lines for food either.

Sunday may not have had fireworks but the lines were really short for a Summer Sunday.

That was true. we walked right onto most things we tried. longest line was for Toad... haven't been on it since I was a kid... and I don't understand the ride now as an adult. lol

ok.. then I don't know what to believe. on another post somewhere on here someone stated that Corn Dog Castle was the only place to make them fresh to order.... grrr! I missed out on fatty goodness!
