    DCA Rides

Everyone is always talking about their favorite rides at DLR but no one talks about DCA. Granted it doesnt compare but there are rides there that i would hate to be without. So i just wanted to know your opinion.

I picked ToT but I almost chose Monsters inc because that is the greatest ride ever

    Re: DCA Rides

I wouldn't miss any of 'em except Soarin' that's one fine ride and worth the wait, I view DCA as an amusement park on Disney property. the one thing it did have going for it was the Vinyard Room, fine, fine dining, WAY better than the Blue Bayou, but that's gone now, so I view DCA as a little extra I get with my AP.

I chose Tower of Terror in the poll because it is an absolutely amazing attraction and I think it is the best themed thrill ride in the entire park, and I have always got to do it whenever I am by myself. I second California Screamin' just because it is a nice thrill (even if it isn't themed to anything).

Muppet's shouldnt even be considered one! I went on that a few weeks ago I thought it was a waste of time!

    Midway Mania!!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

    Re: DCA Rides

Funny how times change. When DCA opened, Sorin' seemed amazing to me, but as time has gone by, I've grown tired of it. I think that it is a bit of a cheap out since they didn't even try to hid the ride mechanism or create a story with the movie.

Tower is my current favorite at DCA, but I look forward to that changing with Cars or Mermaid in the near future.

    Re: DCA Rides

I chose ToT mainly for theme alone. Its incredible, and a really fun ride too.

As far as pure enjoyment, i really like GRR as well, and that would come in a close 2nd.

    Re: DCA Rides

Isn't the California version of TOT missing some elements that are in the Orlando version? We were unlucky enough to get the Pressler version that, if I remember correctly, disappionted M. Eisner.
